I made them out of geometry to add a higher level of detail when presenting products or any other objects you may render. All scenes are also lit. The attached file contains 5 different stages, and that's how they look like:

This is a fully procedural Lava Shader for Blender 2.8. I made this shader to learn more about this fantastic tool. This outcome is a little thank you to the wonderful Blender community.
