Spooky month, finally! I'm glad to see the back of September this year. It started off well, with us rescuing a Bearded Dragon when the previous owner wasn't able to look after it...
But we needed to take her to the vets when she didn't seem well. There they found a lump.
Then I managed to catch COVID halfway through the month, which took a couple of weeks to get over (it took a lot out of me and I'm still trying to recover my energy levels).

I should probably say there was a very swift and unpleasant change in my condition since my last post, and I was lucky to be able to get this page done. I'm still feeling under the weather, but not as bad as I was towards the end of last week.

Amy struggled against the sticky webs wrapped around her, squirming as the slug inched down over her.
Slowly, the Cocoon Slug pulled Amy inside it's rubbery body until she was completely enveloped.
The individual threads that bound her began to melt into one another, forming a single continuous layer that was even tighter than before.
Amy continued wriggling and fighting against her captor, but to no avail.
