April Update

Rabbit Rabbit! Happy first of the month.
If I was more clever I would have an April Fools joke lined up but instead I just decided to keep working on Moontouched hah.

Development is going at a steady pace! I've completed a number of backgrounds as well as a couple of CGs and animations for what will eventually become my first proof of concept in the form of a playable demo!

We're still a little ways out from that as I have a good chunk of art left to do, UI to design, music ...

I was able to knock this out in two days, which I'm pretty happy with. While it's not incredibly polished I do think it's up to par with the rest of the visual elements and will definitely be sustainable for future cgs, of which there are many. More to come!

Anoam Sprite Update

Heya folks,
My PC was down for a few days while I was troubleshooting some issues after grabbing the upgrades I wanted to run After Effects efficiently. Was a headache and a half but it's done and now my PC is back and faster than ever.

While it was down I spent some time working on sprites. I revisited Anoam's and decided that I wasn't happy with the direct angle and I felt I could push the 'wolf' feel farther. I'm pretty happy with this new version (on the right)

Moontouched Sprite Rendering

Hey there wolfpack,
I took a break from writing and coding to explore what a final sprite in Moontouched might look like. After a little playing around I settled with this! Added a new file with some sounds!

I learned a new skill! I bit the bullet and invested in After Effects to bring some extra magic to Moontouched.

This was a test project to get myself familiar with the workflow and I realized quickly that I'm gonna need a new gpu for this hah. There are definitely things I'd have changed if I could've actually seen the preview window by the end of it, but it's a good start!
