So my friend Suichi Tanaka asked if I could draw a kind of "Absolute Batman" Cass that involved her cape being like the one in the new Absolute Batman comics. If you haven't seen those, they're more hook-like, like weapons on his arm instead of just a cape. I'm not sure I really like them, but hey, it was worth exploring in a drawing.

So okay, last week we were watching some really trashy Troma film called "Nuke Em High," and it's a super duper trashy Troma monster movie. But one scene kinda stuck out in my head where one of the Cretins, a bunch of awful punks, gets a little too frisky with the "nice girl" character. Just sharing some of my recent studies and stuff. I think it's been paying off as I get more confidence about how the body works. And it's been helping my pinups a good deal. But I will want to expand my studies to include more diverse body types. I still kinda work in pinups, and I definitely enjoy drawing appealing bodies, but there are many different body types people enjoy seeing, too. It's a little late to get that summer beach bod that I wanted, but I want to get back into stronger and better exercise. I've been doing okay with short exercises and stretches, but I should add more strength training to my weekly routine. I'm not looking to get super-hero buff, but I figure getting a little stronger will help me out in the future.
