Another Loss in the Family

My aunt (my dad's older sister) died yesterday so I'm taking the rest of the week off. This year has been tough for all of us. We just lost two people who we adored in just two months.

Plus, this father's day is going to be a tough one for me. Instead of going out to eat with my dad and celebrate father's day like we used to do, this year I'm going to the cemetery to visit him and bring him flowers. I really miss him.

I finished this before my dad ended was at the hospital, but with everything that was going on I forgot to post it.

I've been absent at my other accounts, but you all knew I didn't had much time for it with everything that was going on with my life.

Update

First of all thank you for your condolences, it was a tough time for us saying goodbye to him. I'm doing okay. We're slowly getting used to a new life without my dad in it, but sometimes I even forget he's gone. I guess it will take sometime for my mind to get used to his absence.

I'll be back to work next week, I just need this week to recuperate from a bronchitis infection that I probably caught while visiting my dad at the hospital. I've been suffering with it for two weeks now, but...

He Has Gone to a Better Place

My dad's battle is over. He doesn't have to suffer anymore. He passed away yesterday at 11am in his sleep. I was there for him everyday and it was hard seeing him in that hospital bed struggling to breathe, but the nurse said he was asleep the whole morning and around 11am his heart stopped. Now he rests and so do I. This was a tough and tiring journey for me as well.

I will take the rest of the month free and I'll be back on April. Thank you guys for your support through this whole ord...

Update

So guys, my dad is in the final stages of his life. Nothing more can be done, it's only a matter of time. It could be days or weeks, who knows, but he won't be returning home anymore. I've been preparing for this for quite some time since I saw how slowly his health was deteriorating over time, but my mom hasn't. This has been tough on her. Because of this I won't be drawing anything until further notice. I need to spend this time with the family and specially with him until it's time for him...
