"Pain in my palms" Illustration

I made this illustration while still on break. I was PMSing and feeling really poopy about myself because I often wonder why people born female are born with pain programed into their bodies. This is what came out of that thought and I also made a short poem along side it:

I'm tired of the pain in my heart, I carry all this weight in my palms.

My body strives to tear me apart, I wonder as the silent night calms.
