Our Next NSFW Illustration. What should it be?!

This time around I want to start drawing more NSFW related to my characters from Our Odd Worlds so here they are in case you don't remember who is who. ( Donna is underage in this story so there will not be any NSFW of her + she's also aro/ace and she'd feel weird about it)

Happy November, my lovely patrons! Newsletter time!

Phew, October was a whirlwind of spooky fun and hustle, and November’s shaping up to be just as busy. Between balancing two part-time jobs, freelancing, and school, I'm just over here like, "Who knew life would be this fun?" 😅 But in all seriousness, I’m thrilled to still find time to be here with you, sharing all I can and chipping away at my personal projects, which keep me going.

Progress on “Our Odd Worlds”

If you haven’t already seen, I’ve officially posted episodes 1 and 2 of Our Odd Worlds! 🎉 This has been a labor of love, and while progress is steady, it’s happening—and that’s what counts. Episode 3 has been thumbnailed (it mostly looks like scribbles, but hey, that’s part of the process). I’ll be sharing those “scribbles” here too, so you get a little peek into the chaotic way my brain works while creating comics.

New Comic: “The Greatest”

I also made a little hand-drawn comic called The Greatest, and I’ll be sharing it here for yass! It’s up on my itch store too if you’d rather view it there. (Don’t worry—if you’d prefer to wait, I’ll be posting it as a slideshow on socials eventually too!) Here’s a sneak peek at a couple of panels to give you a taste. 😊

And for those of you with a naughty side, I’ll be creating a couple of NSFW illustrations this month (no surprise there!). I want your input, so keep an eye out for a spicy poll to help decide what to draw for one of them! Let’s make it fun.

Reading Corner

In non-drawing news, I’m diving into some self-discovery reads this month with The Courage to Be Disliked and Different, Not Less. I guess it’s a break from fiction and more of a “getting to know myself” phase. Anyone else reading something inspiring or just plain enjoyable?

I'm finally updating my comic Our Odd Worlds. I added episodes 1 and 2 together since I changed a few things from the layout (mostly fonts) compared to what I had shared beforehand of Episode 1.

I'm really happy to finally be sharing this tutorial with all of you. I hope it helps you in your process for coloring your illustrations and comics. I'm uploading my highlights brush here in case you guys want to use it in the future!

School Work from this week!

This week I worked on building a short storyboard for a 15 second 3D animation which will be my final project for next semester! It was really fun to try to come up with something funny, short, and without any dialogue. Here are the boards so far (still a work in progress), the exploration and a warm up page with figure drawing.

In my lighting and composition class we are working on translating an old drawing which was provided to us into 3D space with proper lighting, colors and textures. I'm still working on it but here are two shots from how it's turning out so far and lastly the reference I was provided for it.

Welcome to the best month of the year—October! 🍂🎃 I might be a little biased, but who doesn’t love the crisp fall air, spooky vibes, and an excuse to wear a cozy sweater? I even made a whole video about why I love October, which you can check out above this newsletter! (it's an older video) Honestly, I think I might have gone a little overboard with it... but hey, who doesn’t get carried away with Halloween spirit, right? 😆

What’s New This Month?

It’s officially been a month since I started school again, and I’m actually feeling much better about managing my time! With that said, I’m excited to announce that you can expect some Spooky NSFW illustrations this month! 👻🍑 The first one is already in the works, but I need your help to pick the theme—so if you haven’t voted in the poll yet, make sure to do that!

 This was my first long-format comic project, and though there’s a lot I would change if I could go back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come with it. Thank you for sticking with me through it all—it means the world to have your support!

What’s Coming Next? 🛸

I’ve finished writing the script for season one of “Our Odd Worlds”! 🎉 It’s a huge relief to have that done, and now I’m slowly but surely chipping away at the episodes. You guys will get early access to these as I complete each one. No set schedule, though (let’s be real, life is chaotic enough 😅), but once I’ve got at least 20 episodes finished, I’ll be making the comic public elsewhere! Only you guys will get the scoop before everyone else for a very long time. 

Also, I’ve got a couple of shorter comic ideas brewing, each no longer than 10 pages. One of them’s NSFW (because balance, right?), and the other is me diving into my usual existential musings. So, expect a mix of spicy and introspective this month! (for context, one episode from Our Odd Worlds is 8 to 10 pages long)

What I’m Reading 📚

On the lighter side of things, I’ve been reading Polywise, which is all about polyamory, attachment theory, and the physiology behind opening up relationships. If you’re curious about exploring beyond monogamy, I highly recommend checking it out! It’s been an insightful read so far.

Our Odd Worlds: Episode one (Pages 1-8)

Since I'm done with writing the entire 1st season of Our Odd Worlds, I've decided to slowly start tackling the comic (which won't see the light of day for a long time other than in here on Patreon).

It's taken me around a month, but I finally finished the first full episode which consists on 8 pages. I feel like I've come a long way since my first attempt at this comic and I feel like I'm able to capture the vibes and feel of the story much better now.

I'm not on any specific schedule for putting out new pages but I think I will be sharing each full episode from the comic every time I complete one.

What are you thoughts on this first episode?? I want to know how you feel about it considering it's so much different from Bring Me Love, but don't you worry, it will BE VERY GAY as the story continues unfolding. We just have to get through some drama and lore at the beginning first haha.

Hey everyone! How is September going for you? I'm still readjusting to the change of pace but I'm happy to be learning more animation techniques like 3D animation in Maya. SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER IS HERE!

Hey Fam,

I can’t believe it’s already September! Time really seems to be escaping me lately. With the start of college this week, things will begin moving a little slower around here, but don’t worry—I’ll still be sharing lovely updates, NSFW art, and behind-the-scenes content from my comics with you all.

On a personal note, I’ve been wanting a side shave again for a while now. I had one back in 2021 and absolutely loved it, so I decided to go for it again. My partner was kind enough to shave it for me—Wheeee!

This month, I’m diving into some interesting reads. For school, I’m going through Planning Character Animation in 3-D and 2-D, and for myself, I’m enjoying Black Sci-Fi Short Stories. What are you all reading this month? I’d love to hear any recommendations you have!

In other news, next week I’ll be posting the last pages from Bring Me Love. Endings always leave me feeling a bit melancholic and sad, but considering this comic started as a joke and has grown into something much bigger, I’m really satisfied with what I’ve achieved. The support I’ve gained from you and so many others has been incredible.

As I wrap up this project after three years, I’m looking forward to my next big comic venture. However, I’m taking some time to really think about where I want to invest my time. Since I’ll be swamped with school for another year, I might use this year to focus on preproduction before sharing any pages publicly outside of Patreon.

September is a bit of a transition month for me, with new schedules and getting back into the swing of things, so I hope you can be patient with me.

Hand drawn NSFW for fun!

I have been looking at screens for way too many hours because of work and so I wanted to try and see If I could draw NSFW traditionally with my trusted red pencil and pen. It turned out pretty ok considering there's no undoing LOL I'm hoping to work on more traditional illustrations to plug out of the screen in the future.

Miracle of the Universe

This comic is really important to me as it reflects the current issues the mexican Riviera Maya is facing due to the government's promise for development and it meaning the destruction of miles up miles of jungle and untouched land. Land that belongs to the animals, the plants, the caves and the Mayan people.

I wanted to capture the loss of love and care for our nature and cultural heritage, especially with the impact of the Mayan Train project. This work highlights the abuse that nature is enduring right now. It's a reminder not to forget what we are losing in the name of 'progress.' Let's cherish our connection to the earth and protect its beauty and significance. Hope it resonates with you.

AUGUST’S NEWSLETTER

I can hardly believe it, but I’m about to finish my 3-year comic project, "Bring Me Love," this month. It’s been a wild ride, and it feels surreal to finally reach the end. There’s always that itch to tweak and perfect things, but I’m proud to say I’m closing this chapter instead of being stuck in creative limbo. Thanks to your incredible support, you'll get to read the ending before everyone else when I post the final pages here in September. It’s been a long journey, and I truly couldn’t have done it without you.

As for future comic projects, I’m taking it slow and planning my next steps carefully. The last volume of "Bring Me Love" will be formatted and self-published, hopefully by the end of this month.

In the meantime, I’m thinking about drawing at least one more short smut comic for you and another fun short comic before the year ends. Stay tuned!

This month’s reading recommendations are quite the mix, and I hope the bookworms among you will enjoy them. Each book caters to a different mood, so dive in and let me know your thoughts.

I'll also be sharing a vlog from my week as a freelance animator, so keep an eye out for it. Plus, I’m hoping to film part two of my self-publishing comics series. It might reach you by the end of the month or in early September—we’ll see how things go.
