There is an awesome tool within the Obsidian Community that is incredibly useful for players of 5e (2014 and 2024). It helps us get the notes we own into Markdown format and it capable of creating the content we own in lightning speed.

So the most common issue I see new people have is with figuring out how to get the Obsidian TTRPG Convert CLI tool to run. Everyone needs those notes but most people have never used a command line interface in their life and as such, this is a hurdle.
I've been very happy with the reduction of questions since I released my latest tutorial. I feel like it's flowing better and easier to follow...
So Gemmy has been a member of the TTRPG community for a while now. Sadly, he became mute in recent times and has just sat quietly in the corner.
I've been conversing with ChatGPT though and surprisingly... we managed to give Gemmy his voice back!
But we didn't stop there!

This is a cool little template that allows you to add reward levels to Factions or Guilds. You can track the levels in your party or player notes and it will dynamically list the benefits they get based on their level.

This is an updated tutorial for Obsidian Leaflet. It uses a simplified template that comes with a built-in calculator so you can do most of the configuration from within the note. It works through the whole process of obtaining the plugin, setting it up with a template, shows how to use it and then walks through the commonly used features within the plugin.
This is targeted at new users who have yet to master the Obsidian Leaflet plugin.

For as long as I've been using Obsidian I've felt that relationship charts is something that would be cool to have but felt lacking with the current plugins. I wanted something dynamic that worked off the properties of my note and didn't require me to stop and manually map everything out.

In this video we look at a new plugin called Dataview Publish which does exactly what it says on the box. It lets you easily publish Dataview Queries to your Obsidian Publish websites.
This is much easier than Templater method I have covered previously.

It includes things like dice rollers, random generators, an Oracle and it has some really interesting functionality for inline trackers and custom random tables. For anyone that remembers Inspiration Pad Pro 3... this plugin has functionality that reminds me of that tool.

There's a fantastic new plugin called PF2e - Creature Adjuster that lets you apply Elite and Weak templates to PF2e monsters. In this video we walk through how to get the early beta install (not available in the Community Plugins yet) and how to use the plugin to easily and very quickly apply templates to your monsters.

PF2e have released the Remaster Content and as such the Obsidian community have been tinkering on how to get content into Obsidian. This process utilises FoundryVTT and allows you to very quickly import all the monsters, spells, items, vehicles, hazards, rules, actions, etc.
