Well, the results are in, and it feels like 2016 all over again. Plans on Election Day (besides voting)?

Tomorrow is going to be an intense day, along with the rest of the week as the results come in. What's guaranteed are tears, frustration, impatience, and a sense of impending doom that shouldn't be felt every four years. It shouldn't, not in this country and not in any other. However, democracy prevails so long as we all vote and have our choices counted.

With that said, since I already voted with an absentee ballot, I'm avoiding social media like an Amish grandfather. At least, until ...

I’m going to rewatch a classic, “The Shining”, and post a Gothic short story to commemorate the one-year anniversary of me and Fruitz publishing our Victorian gay romance novella “Two Souls of Fangcrest Manor”.

9Monsters Stories (Commission)

An anonymous reader commissioned me to write three flash fiction stories centered around the categories in 9Monsters, a gay dating app. On the app, you can choose to either be a Bulky Bison, Wild Bear, Chubby Pig, Muscle Wolf, Sporty Panther, Athlete Kong, Lovely Dog, Cool Monkey, or Slim Cat. Happy Birthday to me!

I turned twenty-eight today. Just two more years to go before I turn thirty years old, and by some descriptions of members of the fandom, I'll be considered a 'greymuzzle'. In their defense though, it might me a literal thing to call me, haha. Because if you ever met me IRL, you'd be quick to notice that I'm in my late twenties, yet I have a white patch on my beard that makes me look like a silver fox, which is what happens when you spend a decade in a stressful retail job.

Spend one night in a haunted place?

If you were told to spend at least one night in a supposedly haunted location, and you were given $1 million as motivation, where would you go?

For me, I would love to spend at least one night on the RMS Queen Mary. Not only would it be cool to spend a night in a supposedly haunted ocean liner (w/ someone to join me, of course) but the thought of just spending the night in such a historic ship sounds like fun!

Most of us grew up with the opportunity to celebrate Halloween, as well as wear a costume for the spooky holiday. Happy October, everyone! And I'm not just saying that b/c my birthday is on October 25th, hehe.

October has everything, from enjoying the change of colorful leaves to the indulgence of candy, pumpkin spice, spooky fun leading up to Halloween, as well as less sweltering heat due to the end of summer. It's not too hot but not too cold either. Not to mention all of the cool costumes too!
