Pixel Art test

I decided to do some pixel art of my chars because I have been wondering about how good I could be at it, how I could use it, also wanted to experiment on how to simplify things, and how to do sprites for possible future projects.

I don't really know what scale to use, but I am finding the process real fun, I would assume the bigger scale would look best when trying to show more detail, but the smaller one is quite charming 😗

Yesterday was May the 4th and I spent the day sketching some star wars stuff as usual, I couldn't finish them in time but I am sure it was for the best, as it's better to not rush art!!

So, here is what I came up with, a bit tamer that past years but I like to think the drawing quality improved a bit...

This set presents Missi Zilla from Hazbin Hotel!

This one took me a bit, turns out, the proportions get a bit weird between scenes on the show, so I did go for a more off model look, also, the show has a simpler version than the one I was using for reference, so I went with my own mix hehe.

I did change a few poses from the original, I think it looks less repetitive this way!

I am still behind on the other winner, hope you guys can wait a bit hehe, for now...
