Insomnia last week fucked up my schedule. I’ve been up since 2 am this morning. I have an online meeting with my surgeon, later today… Gotta stay up but the bed look pretty tempting right now :P

Weekly Update

Hello party peoples!
How are you doing?

I’m doing great. Fixed almost all the issues I had with the new computer. The only one I can’t seems to be able to get rid of is that my bluetooth speaker disconnect from time to time. It's a bit annoying, but at least I manage to reduce it to once or twice a day. Keeping an eye out for a solution.

I’ve re-written the script and started working on page 9 of the comic… but new hardware, new Wacom, new version of both Photoshop and ...

Got my new Wacom

5 days earlier than expected!!!

The delivery man was not tender with it, but my new baby was well packed and suffered no injury.

It is smaller than expected :/ I didn’t have the exact specs for my old one, so I measured the screen by hand… turn out, when Wacom sells you a screen size, they don’t mean the actual screen but also all the bits outside the screen… live and learn I guess… the 24 ich was a lot more expensive and out of my price range this time around anyway. 2021-02-03 17:02:33 +0000 UTC View Post

Quick Update

Hey guys. Just a quick update since it’s Monday, even if I’m still unable to work.

1 - I got the new computer… it has a few issues like the Bluetooth that keep disconnecting, and the fact that one of my hard drive didn’t survive the switch, but it is fast and silent. What is a lot more worrying is that the mains screen ports, the ones on the mother board, aren’t working, like at all. Thankfully there is more than enough ports directly on my graphics card, and the new Wacom is ...

Technical issues

I’m still waiting for my new PC… meanwhile I had to unplug the Wacom which by now is just constantly glitching and basically unusable. I did a couple of test on my old PC yesterday and my secondary screen, and yeah… the problem is definitely with my Wacom…

So I ordered a new one last night. I didn’t go for the most expensive model, but went for another 22 inch, which was a lot more affordable and is the format I am used to. It will be an improvement none the less.

So…I bought a new PC

My PC is about 5 years old ( not that old, considering ). It was having some issues last year ( which I managed to fix ) but it was doing great lately… Except, while I was plugging in my secondary screen last week, I saw a spark… and ever since, my Wacom Cintic has been loosing the signal from my PC from time to time. It has been manageable so far, even though I couldn’t fix it, but last night it started doing it every 10 minutes. It always get worst after a few hours of running.

So…. I’ve been going a bit bored with this comic… I just don't think it is as good as it should be and the next phase seems a bit repetitive for me. I think it is time to shake things up a bit. I know that this comic is supposed to be about the clamming of Ashoka, but having my dark Jedi so easily beaten feel a bit wrong as well as just a rethread of what I have done already.

So, I’m going to take the next few days (until Monday) to work with Ferawyn and see what we can do with ...

Asterix has been part of my life forever. My earliest memories about reading involve these books. To this day, it is still favorite series of comics ever (even if the books have been increasingly bad ever since Goscinny died ). I’ve learn to draw copying Uderzo’s work… 

When it comes to xxx, I prefer something more realistic than cartoon… but I cannot imagine drawing these characters in a realistic ways that wouldn’t feel like a bad parody ( even if I saw some incredible ...

I’m doing ok.
I know, I know; I’m late on my weekly update, but I wasn’t feeling good yesterday and I didn’t want to write another downer update.

As for today, since I woke up a 4 am and felt I had the energy to work, I didn’t want to waste it figuring of what to say and simply started working on new pics for you. I just completed the line work on the background and will start working on the characters after dinner.

Thank you so much for your suggestions, I almost drown in replies, PMs and emails :P

It took me 3 hours tonight just to make a list of all your suggestions sorted by franchises.
I will keep that list on my desk and add to it every time I have a random idea, or when I receive a suggestion from you guys. So do not hesitate to keep them coming, I will pick from it every time I want to draw something.

AANNNND WE’RE BACK!

It’s a bit late today for my usually weekly update, but I woke up at 8pm today and only just starting my day. I’m in the process of switching to a daylight schedule, but it usually take about a week for me to do so.

I hope you guys had a good time without me. It was pretty relaxed for me. I had a surprisingly great Christmas dinner with only my mother and her husband, this year. And the rest on the time, I mostly watched movies and series. I ended up NOT binging Archer, but I’m do...
