Hey guys, I know I haven't been up to date on posting stuff this month! Ep 14. Panel Process GIF

I'm really awful at making GIFS so I'm quite surprised this one actually turned out! 

Here's a quick process of how I go about making my panels. I really hate how my lineart looks with just color flats underneath it so most of the time I end up painting over everything I draw! (That's why it takes me forever to make these updates huhu).

Ep 13 Scrap Panels

This is what happens when you don't plan well before an update...I ended up scrapping these panels for a multitude of reasons....

ONE - Reina was designed on the SPOT and ended up having an entire wardrobe change in the middle of the episode. As you can tell, the previous outfit was too detailed up top for me to remember how to draw consistently so I basically settled for the black/red combo and ditched the gold.

Still need to do some tweaks and color adjustments but here's a couple of preview panels from the upcoming episode.  (Boy do I love it when they shift HUHU) 

I actually chopped off about 15 panels from the last episode which I am going to use in the new one. Hopefully, I can get it up by the end of this week before school starts for me again and things begin to slow down! T_T 

Cerulean Islands

So I was playing around in Sketchup when I got the bright idea to render a desert I found into well... Clove's HOMELAND!  I haven't done landscape painting in a pretty long time (or any painting for that matter) so this was a breath of fresh air! Playing with textures and different brushes is really fun!

Hey guys, I hope you're all enjoying the little break between Christmas and New Years! In any case, I'm really trying to get this next episode up as soon as possible but adjusting to the Cintiq has been a bit harder than I originally imagined. In any case I hope you guys will see an improvement in the art quality of the comic this coming episode. I only have about 25 or so panels left to do!

Hey guys! I recently got a new tablet and I'm still getting accustomed on drawing on such a huge screen! I'm having a bit of trouble matching the colors of the old comic due to the saturation of the screen (but I sincerely hope no one notices XD). Nevertheless, even with these small issues I really do hope there will be an increase in the art quality of the next chapters. T_T  (I'm not drawing on a 5 inch screen anymore :"D )

Guys, I'm sorry this is so hideous but this is what the majority of my planning sketches for any character/outfit end up looking like before I draw them in the comic. I don't like showing the "unrefined" stuff because it becomes very obvious that my brain is a mess.

EP 11 Colored Panels

Hey guys, here's the original coloring for some panels that had to be de-saturated for that "flashback" effect. I sure do love killing my colors after all the work that goes into picking them XD

Hey guys, I posted this on my twitter earlier. Here's last November's Clove compared to the Clove I drew today. 

I've been seeing some comments lately that people don't really seem happy with the change/shift in art when compared to the earlier chapters. (That's why I want to redraw them) Some people seem to miss the "cuter" way I used to draw, but truly I've always wanted her (and Kyro) to look a bit more mature considering this is a story about war.

Ep 9. Scrap Panel

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed Ep. 9! (I know I did XD) Here is one of the panels that got scrapped before the BIG kiss scene (because I decided to re-write the script mid-episode XD). 

Ep 9 had quite the reaction but I couldn't help but notice how confused some people seemed to be by the end. I can't answer all the answers on WT but since I want to give you guys special privileges I'm willing to answer your questions here (so long that they don't give away the plot).

HUE HUE HUE! My script for episode 8 literally had *Clove strips* for the "stage directions" in this chapter.
