Flagelants
This miniature is part of the unit diorama. We have also made some additional helmets.
We will continue with the Knights of the Sun. I suppose there are not too many surprises here.
The unit will be receiving the blessing of their weapons from a Warrior Priestess.

Hello Guys.
Here are the first steps of the War Altar. The humans are only for scale purposes.
The Altar will be pulled by 4 flagellants, and the crew will consist of the organist, a Sun Knight guarding the entrance, and of course, the Archlector.

Hello everyone,
First of all, I want to thank you for the incredible growth we have experienced this month. We have managed to break out of the stagnation we were in quite unexpectedly. So, thank you all.
Since there are many new members, I remind you that the instructions for receiving Patreon content are here:https://www.patreon.com/lastswordminiatures/about

Here we have one of the highlights of the month: the Sea Guard unit.
The unit's strategos is ready to lead his soldiers, accompanied by a Griffhound and a squire bearing his weapons.
We've created some amphora fillers with dates, which, like the griffin, help to keep the front line more open. This ensures that important figures like the standard bearer and the musician are not obscured, despite being placed in the second line.
You also have options to equip the soldiers with...

Today, we have a miniature of a foot battle standard. It's one of the options where our elves were a bit lacking.
I hope you like it

Hello everyone,
Here is the first of this month's flamethrower units. I am personally very pleased with how this piece turned out. I hope you like it :)
This is one of those pieces I've wanted to create even before we started focusing on miniatures. Maybe it was my little thorn in the side. So now, its day has finally come.
What do you think?
2024-01-22 21:25:32 +0000 UTC View PostWell guys, here you have the little dragon.
As I told you, we were working on a completely different pose from anything we've done before.
As you can see, it's not easy.
We're going to scale it up as much as we can and then start to add details, and afterwards work on the cuts, the most complex part of the whole process.

Today I bring you a couple of models from the Sea Guard.
On one hand, we have the standard bearer, following the classic line with his drake, reminiscent of the Roman eagles. In this case, it's a sea dragon.
On the other hand, a soldier in a slightly more relaxed pose than the one we saw the other day. If you want a fully formed unit, you can use the previous model which you will also have in the kit. But with these, we add a bit more variety.
The heads are interchangeable, ...

As the soldiers in the unit are posed in a relaxed manner, we're crafting a quaint scene in which the unit's strategos leisurely walks by, conducting an inspection of the troops.
I'm particularly impressed with the unintended, gradual evolution of a samurai-like aesthetic among the members of the Imperial kindred.
Following the miniature of the strategos will be his squire, bearing the bow and spear, accompanied by a griffhound.
The strategos will be depicted walking towards...

Alright guys, a promise is a promise.
We told you that once we reached 1000 subscriptions, we would start with the loyalty rewards.
This miniature that we're working on was initially created in a simpler version for David Lora, who is a member of this Patreon. We're going to give this Elven consul a much more impressive throne.
You'll also have access to the original version, which is a bit more playable.
This miniature will be delivered in March to subscribers of the...
Here you have the first of the war machines. We are going to add more ropes to increase resistance, and we will probably hollow out the amphora to reduce its weight.
I hope you like it.

First of all, I want to welcome all the new members. We've finally broken through the barrier of 1,000 patrons, which is a significant milestone for this project as it involves many people. Thanks to your support, we are able to increasingly professionalize our work.
So, on behalf of the entire team, thank you very much for your support.
Today, I bring you the roadmap for the year 2024:
Hello guys,
Here's the update on our new war machines. I believe there won't be any surprises in this regard.
We are continuing with the intricate detailing of the launcher, a task you can imagine is quite painstaking. :)
This month, we're planning to complete two machines: one in the process of loading and another in a rather spectacular firing action. For the latter, you will need a particularly rigid resin, as the piece is quite complex due to gravity.

The concept we have for this unit is an officer inspecting the troops. Therefore, we created a soldier standing at attention. However, I believe this pose seems too stiff, and the variations we can make are quite limited.
Thus, we are considering creating soldiers in slightly more relaxed poses to increase variety.
The spear will also undergo some modifications, although we will retain the trident as a distinctive symbol of the unit.

Hello everyone,
This is the third unit of the month. It's a fire jar launcher based on Roman Onagers (FundÃbulos).
You can use it to replace the flamethrowers in KOW, or as a rare variant of the ballista.
We're talking with the people at 9th Age to get some rules set up for it. I'm not sure if they'll be ready by the end of the month, but I think this could turn into a regular collaboration.
And that's why today I want to dedicate a few words to 9th Age and all the fa...

Hello guys,
We're launching the first product of the year: the Imperial Guard of our Imperial Kindred. As you will see, we've decided to retain all the classic traits of the line, but we've incorporated some elements reminiscent of the generic sea guard. The idea is to maintain coherence with both references so they can be used in any of the armies.
In this case, we've opted for long padding to make them slightly lighter than the phalanx.
However, I have a doubt: should we k...

Good morning and happy new year, everyone.
We're kicking off with some exciting updates.
Firstly, we're introducing our take on Sir Agravaine of Orkney. As I've previously mentioned, our focus has been on robustness. Those dramatic, flowing cloaks can be a real hazard for a gaming miniature, so we've engineered them to be as sturdy as possible.
I would greatly appreciate your feedback on this aspect, to understand how it holds up and consider it for future miniatu...

Well, folks, it's the end of the day, the year, and the month. Here we present the last unit for January: the Men-at-Arms of Neverra.
We've given them three weapon options: hand weapon, spear, and halberd, as well as shields. They are also compatible with the foot knights, giving you many options and permutations with the pieces of each.
We didn't include heads with non-heraldic helmets for the knights, but they are compatible with those you already have in the household knights o...
