The Iron Phalanx: A Blood-Sealed Oath
When the Iron Phalanx marches, there are no hymns, no banners in the wind. Only the sound of boots echoing through the streets of Marenstadt, the sharp crack of steel as pikes lock into place. They are not heroes. They are not saviors. They are the last wall standing between a city that thrives on broken promises and the chaos beyond.
Their story begins in Raben...

In the canals of Marenstadt-Free City, where the roar of cannons echoes between merchant palaces and seedy backstreets, many tales are told of Uggrok the Cannonball. Some say he was once fired from a cannon and survived. Others swear that during a siege, he smashed through a gate with his own head before the battering rams even touched it. The only certainty is that wherever he treads, nothing stands for long.
Armed with his light cannon

This miniature is inspired by the discoveries at Sutton Hoo, one of the greatest treasures of Anglo-Saxon history.
His helmet, with its distinctive faceplate, and his shield, reinforced with metal fittings, follow the design of the artifacts found in the royal tomb of East Anglia. These were not just pieces of armor but symbols of power, reflecting the status of a warrior king in the 7th century.

In Anglo-Saxon England, a warrior’s worth was not only measured by his skill in battle but by his service to the king and his lineage. The Thegns were the military elite of their time—men of arms who protected their lord and upheld the order of the realm. They were landowners, community leaders, and battle-hardened veterans, bound by duty and privilege to answer their lord...

Hello everyone!
Today, I bring you the first steps of this month's units.
First, we have the heavy pikemen unit, designed to make the most of the heavy armor we created last month with the siege crossbowmen. This time, we've opted for a combat stance against infantry, setting them apart from the previous pikemen, who were positioned to counter cavalry.
I'm also sharing a first look at the new crossbowmen, featuring an I...

To wrap up this month, we present the Lion Riders unit and the Lion Mage.
We understand that new rules may be introduced in the coming months, which could impact these miniatures. When the time comes, we will assess how to best adapt them to ensure they continue to fit seamlessly into your games. We’ll keep you updated in the next month of Tor Rufánë.

To wrap up the Shieldmaiden characters, this month we bring you a Jarl, clad in armor inspired by Lagertha but with a much more historical approach. Alongside her stands her young daughter, ready to carry on her mother’s legacy.
These have been some of the most fun characters to sculpt—we hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Here is the cavalry of Tor Rufánë , inspired by the legendary Companions of Alexander the Great. These elven riders combine speed, skill, and discipline, staying true to the spirit of classic cavalry while adding their own unique touch.
Their prince, Thalion, is no exception. His design draws directly from various depictions of Alexander the Great, capturing his presence and battlefield command.
More than just a cavalry unit, th...

This month, instead of focusing on a single type of troops, we’ve prepared a small group of female warriors covering most battlefield roles. The idea is to complement the warriors from previous months, allowing you to expand your army in a balanced way.
We’ve also made sure to keep maximum compatibility so you can mix and match them seamlessly.

Exciting news from the workshop!
Bannerman Tier:
Who doesn’t love a good axe? Well, our prince on foot has two! Ready to chop, slash, and lead your troops like a true badass.
Adventurer Tier:
Meanwhile, the Vikings are stepping up their mystical game with a priestess—and she’s got one of Odin’s ravens keeping her company. (Probably whispering secrets about the other gods, who knows?)
What do you think? Ar...

With the Shieldmaidens, we’ve taken the opportunity to create a noblewoman who is not necessarily clad in her armor. I believe she is a very beautiful and unique character, as she is not typically portrayed this way.

Here is the first unit of the month, fully completed. As you can see, we drew a lot of inspiration from classical Greek infantry, starting with the linothorax as armor and using the kopis sword as the main reference. Its wide, curved blade seemed more fitting for elves than the Athenian xiphos swords, which are commonly used by other brands.
We also added the characteristic lion cloaks. Additionally, we’ve closed the visors on the helmets to bring them closer to the design of the Cori...

For this cavalry, we’ve drawn a lot of inspiration from illustrations of Alexander and the Companions. I hope you like it!
On the other hand, all the rewards are already up to date as of today.
For 2025, we will maintain the same rewards for new members (the count resets in January) and will also introduce four quarterly rewards for those who already have them.

Hi everyone,
This month, the Adventurer tier will be slightly different from previous Viking-themed months.
Normally, we’ve focused on representing a specific type of troop. However, this month, we’ve decided to offer female miniatures that will allow you to expand all existing troop types.
We felt it would be a bit unusual to create exclusively female units (though you absolutely can if you’d like), but our main goal is to bring more variety to the units you already h...

Hi everyone!
We’re super excited to share that this awesome Siege Troll miniature will be our loyalty reward for everyone sticking with us during the first quarter of 2025. It’s a little sneak peek at what we’re planning for the Orc armies. We hope you love it as much as we do!
The plan is to have rewards every quarter this year, so if all goes well, there’ll be another cool miniature coming for the second quarter. If...

Hi everyone,
Here’s the beginning of the elves! Last month, I showed you the T, and we’re now starting to apply it.
We still need to add the lion cloaks to give them that veteran touch, as well as design their own spears, swords, and shields.
I think the goal of achieving cohesion with the current elf range is more or less accomplished.
What do you think about the shift towards Greek influence?

And now, all that remains is to show you the conclusion of the Adventurer tier.
Here we not only have another great selection of gladiators, fully compatible with the ones you've already seen, but we've also saved a special surprise for the finale: a complete arena!
The arena even comes with an optional game board, featuring drawn squares so you can play Jugula directly on it. 😊

To wrap up the month, here are the final Dwarven characters, which we haven't even shown you yet.
First, we have a young Dwarf Lord, wearing his late father’s armor, which is still a bit too big for him. You’ll also notice that the heraldry on his belt doesn’t feature a beard yet—his own hasn’t grown in.
Next, we have a Runic Priest on foot, entirely distinct from the anvil version.
And last but not least, the King, available both on foot and seated on his throne.<...

Here you have the clan warriors with their different options: hand weapons and shield, spears, and dual hand weapons.
As you can see, their helmets feature gorgets shaped like mustaches, serving as a personal heraldic emblem. The shields are inspired by Romano-Gallic cultures, but with a unique twist that blends cultural influences, incorporating octagonal shapes rarely seen in the real world.
The banners follow the same pattern, featuring the beard and mustache in metal as key el...

Hi everyone,
Here is our Royal Dwarven Guard unit, equipped with plate armor and mighty two-handed hammer-axes.
I’d like to draw your attention to the banners, which consist of two distinct pieces. The geometric carvings symbolize the beard of a dwarven ancestor, while the plate represents a stylized mustache. Together, they form the heraldry of a clan or unit.
I hope you enjoy this unique detail that connects the design to dwarven traditions.

Here is the first batch of gladiators. All the hands (not the arms) are interchangeable, allowing you to customize their weaponry to your liking. Additionally, each gladiator comes with two interchangeable heads that are compatible with almost any model in the collection.
With these options, we’ve made the collection highly flexible and customizable.
We hope you like it!

The year is almost over, and I can’t think of a better way to wrap it up than by showing you one of the most special pieces you'll soon receive!
Today, we’re excited to present the Dwarven Anvil, a design we’re particularly proud of. This anvil is more than just a simple object; it’s a part of the very heart of dwarven culture. It shares many components with the dwarven throne because, originally, we created it as a dual kit for physical models. While this detai...

As I mentioned, we accepted the challenge of giving the elves of the Princedom of Tor Rufánë a very Greco-Roman inspiration.
I don’t usually show you work this far in advance, but today is a special day, and I know many of you are eager to see the direction we’re taking.
As you can see, the armor is directly inspired by Greek linothoraxes, and it’s turning out much better than we expected. And that’s without even touching on the chapter of muscled c...

Hi everyone,
We’ve put together this small painting guide as you requested. Next month, we’ll add it as a PDF to the website library so you can have it on hand.
We’re planning to release one or two guides per month, focusing on very specific topics.
What do you think of the format? Would you change anything? Is there a particular topic you’d like us to cover in future guides?
Hope you like it! 😊

Greetings, dear patrons! 🌟
This month, we have introduced significant improvements to the supports of our miniatures. This new system is designed to make printing and post-processing easier, offering cleaner finishes and better-preserved details. We have applied these improvements to most of this month's miniatures, although not all, as we are implementing them gradually.
We would love to hear your feedback, especially from those of you who have experience with our previ...
