Shop sticker #2/November sticker

Here’s the November sticker! I used this design for some business cards after the incubus design (see last month’s sticker) and considered signage of it but ultimately didn’t because of a hard drive failure where I lost this work file. It was the only thing I lost (that I know of) in the great crash of 2014.

Another page in the office—- one thing I like to do that isn’t standard in comics is make each page its own thing. I don’t, if I can, jump from scene to scene in on one page, I like to change scenes between pages. I think this maybe comes from being an illustrator, and from posting a page at a time online.

Date Night

These pages are pretty good considering how I rushed through them. I was also fairly new to using Clip Studio. I see a lot of things I would like to have another pass on, but for what it is, I like it.

These people all had general descriptions, except James (gay Bono, as said previously) and the two men who kiss James, whom I got to draw whatever I wanted. So the six to either side of James (his office employees) had names and descriptions in the script, but weren’t said to be based on actual persons.

Date Night

I’m deep into closing my tattoo shop for the rest of the month! I will strive to get a new page up in the midst of this, probably a one pager based around this image, a promotion for the upcoming Feral story that will feature all my Patrons due a “draw you in” appearance.

The story is going to be an epilogue of Stray Bullet, but work on its own. Also a follow up to Damaged. I’m considering what to name its, since I have this far named each Feral and the Ghost Skater ...

This page introduces a character who isn’t one of the main 5, but the driving event of the first issue revolves around. He was described to me as a “gay Bono”, lol.

This is the first page (other than the splash I first shared) where I used NYC reference. I had never been at the time, and used a lot of screenshots I took from Google maps (street view).

As far as the Incubus sticker goes, y’all haven’t given me a resounding consensus on which version to use, lol. I think I will do a mock up of a few versions and put it up to a poll. A split order is possible too.

October Sticker- Tattoo Shop Set #1

This set for the last quarter of 2023 I am going to use artwork I made to promote my tattoo business/shop, since it is closing down for good in a few weeks.
