Hawkmoon character sheet

Hey it’s been a while since I did one of these! This is patron Gregory as he appears in Loose part 3, playing the part of Hawkmoon. Instead of just doing a straight (ahem) write up of the Moorcock character, I realized it would be fun to do a saucy parody of him. I then realized that this is the way it should always have been!

The sheet is based on original edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons (AD&D 1E), which is just what I am most familiar with… being an ancient dragon mysel...

Queer Kaiju sticker #3- Barugon

Who’s the proudest member of the queer kaiju community? Obviously it’s Barugon, Gamera’s first foe from 1966’s aptly named “Gamera vs. Barugon”. Dorian Hawkmoon is a character in the “Runestaff” novels by fantasy author Michael Moorcock. In the last panel we have 2 more patrons in foreground silhouette, Mike W. and Arend, who will get more frontal exposure (ahem) in the following pages.

Here’s a welcome sketch for Couch, who shares a name with his OC Couch Gregor. He told me to think of him as a furniture golem, which is admittedly new to me. Being an old-head dungeon master I am familiar with Flesh Golems. Clay Golems. Wood Golems. Iron Golems. And even Stone Golems (one figures into the final chapter of Loose)! Now we add furniture golems. I love the creativity of kink.

Queer Kaiju sticker #2- Space Godzilla

I have way more than 3 ideas for this set, so choosing has been tough! William said I should go with this one since I had sketched it out back when Space Godzilla was teased for the next Monsterverse film. I like that original sketch but of course cleaned it up while redrawing at a higher resolution, and made the details more accurate to SG’s design. Included is the “sketch” from May.

MCM Awdah Hathaleen

This young man was part of the crew that worked on No Other Land, which won the Oscar for best documentary this year. If you missed the news story of his death, Google it if you wish, but be warned, it was all caught on film and is pretty graphic.

I couldn’t help but think of Gilbert Hernandez’s Palomar character, Israel, who has the right side of his face and body burned.

MCM- Hiroshi Abe

I’ve not seen too many films of Abe’s, just a few Kaiju films where he plays the villain (Godzilla 2000, Orochi the Eight Headed Dragon) but his smoldering looks definitely stand out among a very clean cut sea of Japanese leading men. I really have to see one of his dramas. I chose this picture because his hair is so wild in it.
