Skater stickers are a go!

I just sent the April May June stickers off to the printer! Those at the Blood Brother and above tier will be getting them shortly after I get them back. If you missed out on the previous ones because I didn’t get a current address from you until recently, don’t worry, you’ll get the first three as well.

I’m thinking the following set may be Feral themed? How does that sound?

June Sticker!

Here’s a thing.

For the third “Ghost Skater” sticker I went with a classic, the back cover to Hard to Swallow Comics #2. This was originally drawn for Instigator magazine, and was the first color rendering of Mitch… and obviously before I had decided that he would be a ghostly blue in hue. So, I retconned this to be Mitch before death.

Stickers will be out to the printer soon and then to all if you who get them!

New Patron Sketch; Welcome, Richard!

It’s another welcome sketch, this time for Richard! Richard requested himself as the Silver Surfer, from the waist up, and with his tattoos showing. I drew him in the iconic pose drawn by Buscema and inked by Sinnott from Silver Surfer #1 (1968).

Thanks for being a patron, Richard (and everyone)! Hope you like it.

Monday I am going to be on William’s movie discussion show Cinephilia, where we are going to fan-cast the upcoming MCU Fantastic Four movie. An invitation and an incentive...

Old Doug pin-up!

Going through boxes of old artwork at my shop today I came across this, probably done right after Hard to Swallow #4 since Doug is dressed as he is when go-go dancing. I believe I sketched it out a while before and then inked at this time... it shows pretty well this character’s evolution... his head has changed a lot since his first appearance, and he’s gotten a lot beefier since becoming a werewolf.

New Comics related stuffs in the Etsy store!

I had made the sticker art large enough to be easily printed at short sizes, and I also had upped the resolution of the center spread from Damaged, twice the size as the rest of the book, so that it could one day be a poster. Well that day is today! Lol.

The varying prices of these three shirts reflect the base price for each different Gildan shirt... I want to get one of each and compare the differences.

Warm up sketch (with color)

I haven’t done a warm up in a few days, and decided to do one today... in ink instead of pencils how I have been doing them recently. I wasn’t too thrilled with it so I added some watercolor to it. Not as quick as I like a warm up, but hey, it’s done, and I hope you like it. This is from a pic I had saved to draw sometime. I think I liked the way his forehead and nose looked in this angle.

Welcome, Bob!

Welcome sketch for new patron Bob! He wanted a cartoon version of himself from a specific picture... I kept drawing it and tossing the drawings out because I was drawing the picture instead of making a cartoon version of it. I like this version fine.

D&D character art

The Street Fight Radio crew have been foraying into fantasy role playing on the podcast, and I was commissioned to draw out the party. D&D sure has changed since I used to play! This was a lot of fun and all the players are having fun and being creative with the characters.

April sticker—- the finga!

After a short discussion with some patrons, it was decided that the next trio of stickers would be Mitch/Ghost Skater themed.
