I have a good excuse, though.  It was Heresy's birthday, and he drew me a pic of Winter for my birthday.  It would be very rude to not pass the folf back to him.

That's page two done, and also the second image from this set I'm uploading as HD for all patrons.  There were some more posters I wanted to put up in the background, but for the sake of time I cut them and stuck with just the one I had already done (so no furry version of the Star Wars or Terminator posters today).  Mostly because I want to talk about the poll results, and I don't want to spam your timelines with multiple posts when one will do.

Focus for July 2023

Progress shot of what's goin on with the next page of Boycurious.  I'll finish this up, that'll give me two pics where I've gotten to practice this cel shading on.  After that, I'll do some polling here, see what way you guys want to go in July.  Finish the set?  Some requests?  We'll see.

Calling this done (for sure this time).  Added some adjustment layers to warm the colors up and add a little noise, replaced the poster with the one I painted, and strengthened up the lines for the headboard a little to help define the shape more.

Ended up redoing page 6 and 8 entirely.  I'll do these one at a time, and start getting that shading practice/experimentation in.  I'm thinking this will be set in Seff and Luna's bedroom, on their bed.  Probably sideways across it, so in page 4 Ash and Seff are backlit by the window over the desk.  That should make for a good, dramatic sort of lighting to practice, bright, golden rim lights from an afternoon sun.  But it also means that for poses 1, 2, 5, and 6 most ...

tldr been sick.

Had a dentist appointment on the 1st of the month, and brought home some kind of sinus infection home that had me in bed with a fever from the 4th to the 7th.  Two at-home Covid tests, both negative.  Fever broke Sunday night, but I'm not back to 100%.  My sinuses are still jacked up, my sleep schedule is all kinds of wrong after being in and out for four days, and I'm wiped out energy-wise.  Managed to do some doodling yesterday, but even ...

So I had this idea in my head of Very Princess Clovis and her male harem of wolfboys, and I thought, "Oh yes this sketch of Clovis getting glazed by the lot of them is a good excuse to sketch that."  Anyway that took way too long because of course it did, so this is about as far as I got.  Time to get back to the comic.

Inks are getting there.  Most of what is left is a lot of fluff and refinement.  Looking pretty good for getting this page done before the end of the month.  With any luck, we'll have the whole thing wrapped up at the end of April.  I'll still pick up more requests from you guys in April, probably.

Speaking of, bonus image tonight.  Set of sketches I started back in February, and have chipped away at off and on.  Might add more poses to this some...

Work on next page is underway.  Unlike page 5, there isn't large amounts of it that I feel like I have to throw out and redo, so it's straight into inking.  I need to rework the internal slightly to make it stylistically match the ones I did a couple pages back, but that's fairly simple.

Was going to go into the next comic page after finishing that sketch of Winter, but I know Heresy has been having a rough week - so I picked up one of his requests and hammered it out.  Went pretty well.  Tried something a little different, overlaid the sketch layer on the rough colors to get some extra-rough shading/extra definition.
