I really wanted to do some Proper rendering, like I used to do when I made adoptables, but my wrist got tired about halfway through (and it stopped being fun when I reached the vast expanse of jeans) 

I did really enjoy those little bear beads, though :P. You can see I gave up on the trainer/sneaker concept, I just couldn't pull it off in colour! It looked too bone like- instead of bear claws.

Small update and preview!

I know that the $1 tier has had some (old $3 tier) stuff this week, but I didn't want to leave $3+5 hanging, so here's some things that are coming soon! 

Pages will be starting again next week :D, and the sketchbooks will *probably* be around the 4th-5th, I have a big nsfw sketch comic I'm trying to finish that I'm excited to share! (I may delay it a bit depending on how it goes haha, I bit off way more than I can chew)

Chapter 8+ 9 Clothes Concepts

PHEW....

so this time I think I'm *mostly* okay for backgrounds, I've basically concepted all the main locations now. However, there are a lot of small scenes that call for outfits ;P

I'm doing a lot of scripting edits this time around, so there's less to show for all my work, but hopefully I can get into thumbnails and sketching pages out soon :).

I forgot to put this up yesterday, aah! (this is the tupperware poor Julie has been trying to get upstairs this whole scene haha)

As usual I'll be taking a chapter break to get everything figured out for the next chapter! The $3 tier will get some concepts, and the $1 tier will get a few of the older $3 tier concepts, and all tiers still get the monthly sketch content. (I actually also have a Marnie & Julie piece to share so that'll go up too :3)

I've been SO unhappy with that needless supermarket tantrum for YEARS. I feel like it doesn't fit Juliens character at all!
The other changes are mostly to make the parent situation more consistent, now that I've actually written the university stuff in a canon flashback. I didn't really think it through very well back then and it showed!

Also re the first page...I don't know why I decided that the rules of renting should apply in fic...

I spent at least 50% of my spare time making small clay animals this month, as birthday gifts (which is great, cheap gifts! but at what cost...) [heres one] 

The amount of times I accidentally squashed one part while working on another...

It's also a little shorter because I've got a couple of pages I havent included- as is explained at the end!

I found out that vimeo doesn't allow password protection on the uploads unless you pay for premium. I don't see any other way to embed it directly to patreon and keep it private, which means you have to download the attachment to watch it -_-. I'm extremely sorry!
