I've been SO unhappy with that needless supermarket tantrum for YEARS. I feel like it doesn't fit Juliens character at all!
The other changes are mostly to make the parent situation more consistent, now that I've actually written the university stuff in a canon flashback. I didn't really think it through very well back then and it showed!
Also re the first page...I don't know why I decided that the rules of renting should apply in fiction. I struggled for ages with that scene the first time, and it was way easier to just act like Julie can move whenever they want.
I like the idea that Jerry is covering her true intentions here. Actually by moving to somewhere cheaper Julien has been able to pay rent by pursuing music without a second job, and has also made some good friends! Thanks Jerry ;P.

this is SO good to hear! There are a lot of rusty parts in the earlier chapters, but I feel like you really have to pick and choose what you allow yourself to edit, or it's never ending! Thanks so much :)
