Alrighty folks as promised here is this months tutorial, its a small one as you might expect given the hectic scheduel we've kept over the past two months. With stuff slowly going back to normal we are hoping April's tutorial will be a little more involved. Hey folks as you might have guess weve been crazy busy with FE and while it's now over we've been too pooped to do much of anything. But we haven't forgotten about you in regards to the monthly tutorial! Since we haven't had much time the tutorial will just be a short and sweet on how to make velcro eyelids for any head. We'll try to get that tutorial for you guys before the end of the month but don't freak out if it's a day or two late!

Phew! We're FINALLY finished all our FE premades and with no time to spare! We'll be packing up and heading out first thing in the morning so if you are going to FE we'll be seeing you soon! FE con prep - Drekki
The head base for this suit was started last year but we never actually had the time to work on it so now we're finally finishing this as a pre-made for Furnal Equinox. Well it might look like a rabbit or a cabbit this is actually a Drekkubus which I can only describe as a cabbit with a bone mask and a boney tail and ridiculous long ears. We actually made our ears on the small side - relative to the species - so as to not encumber the wearer too much.

Between convention prep and working on this month's tutorial we haven't had much time to upload working progress pictures so here is a photo dump of some of the things that we've been working on. :)

The fleece didn't work out so we switched to a stretch minky. While it's not exactly the look we were hoping to achieve its still quite nice. With the hood sewn we're moving onto the ears, which are currently pinned in place, we are making them seperate so they'll be nice and floppy. After that we'll add the cheek fluff and call this head done!

Well my adventures with mochi fabric didn't pan out. It took me 3 times to get the sublimation right and when I finally did and had everything glued down and ready for furring the mochi teared and I couldn't sew the hole closed without it being super visible and ugly. So I tore all the lining out and the face off and I'm trying again with fleece.
