Kig Kemono

We're trying our hands at an entirely new style of fursuit heads: kig Kemono! For those not in the know Kig styled heads are a sub-type of Kemono heads similar to how semi-toony is a sub-type of toony styled heads. Kig styled (sometimes called Slim Kemono) heads have a much smaller face with more humanoid anatomy but still retain there big anime eyes.

In addition to this new style we are trying a new technique on the form of a mochi fabric face with sublimated markings as opposed to s...

FE Con Prep

Sorry for the lack of updates we've been working round the clock on con prep, and we're juuuust about done with all the tails we need to make. After this we'll start on the premade heads, than make some handpaws and if we have time feetpaws, plus of course any pre-orders. We also decided that this month's tutorial will be about making lined armsleeves, so stay tuned for that!

That's all for now, see you again soon!

Fandes Suit

We finished up Fandes's suit and got someone to model it for us, sadly the customer its meant for is a real tall boy so the suit looks super baggy and weird on our model but what can yah do. The client is supposed to come pickup the suit in person so we'll try to take some nice pics of them in their suit before they leave. =)

With Fandes done and out of the way we'll be starting our con prep for FE and MCFC. If you happen to being going to that con and have room in your hotel for 1 (pos...

Various things of the doing

Hey folks sorry for the radio silence between my grandmother's funeral and taking care of CanFur orders we've had little time for much else! As it stands so much of my house has been taken over for order fulfillment that it's spilt out of the studio and into the hallway and dining room! But we're getting back into the swing of things and are working on Fandes's suit in-between the chaos of shipping CanFur orders out. For Fandes we got the lining for the padding sewn and pinned in place and w...

Delivery Day

Hey folks, for those not in the know today was delivery day for the CanFur furs, which means we finally have our Arcade fur in stock! Sadly the timing isn't the best as we will be out of town for a funeral for the next 5 or so days. When we get back however we'll begin distribution on these furs.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about but would love to learn more head on over to www.canfur.ca that's where we sell all our "CanFur" brand fabrics!

Alrighty the bulk of the suit is done as fur is sewn and hemmed so the next step will be the lining before doing the final touches and moving onto the feet.

Minty WIP

While our holidays weren't as restlful as we hoped or needed it's time to get back to work. Starting with Minty's suit. We're making great progress on the head and should be able to finish it over the next few days, after that we'll be moving onto Fandes before starting our Furnal Equinox con prep.

Oh and we're also making good progress in this month's monthly tutorial/pattern. A good thing too as it looks like we'll need to bring our PC into the repair shop so the sooner we finish tha...

December Monthly Tutorial Update

Hey folks, I sincerely apologize for the radio silence, it's been pretty rough these past two weeks. To offer some insight, I was initially kept away with just the normal holiday shenanigans, and then my grandmother passed away, and that hit my family pretty hard as we were all supposed to visit her for Xmas and she had been talking about how excited she was to have us. I've been asked by my mother to create something for the Celebration of Life Service so I'd been working on creating Christm...

Monthly Tutorial update

As you can all probably tell we are late for delivery November monthly tutorial/pattern, and we may be late still as we have to unexpectedly take a trip to Chicago to deliver a fursuit after some shenanigans with the post office. So we'll be unavailable for a few days but we will try desperately to finish the tutorial tomorrow before our flight the following morning.

I can tell you that November's release will be a tail patterning tutorial that includes the steps for making the "g...

Khito - Finished Fullsuit

We didn't get a chance to upload these pics yesterday, but this lad is on his way home! Now that this suit is done we can finish Minty's head and send off that suit too. Before we do that though we'll work on and release this months monthly tutorial/pattern, so do stay tuned for that!

After Minty's suit is completed and sent off we'll be on "Vacation-mode" and I saw that loosely as I'll still be working on stuff but it will mainly be con prep for FE and MCFC. Stay tuned for more!&...

He's done!

We'll post pics of the full suit-up tomorrow before this bad boi gets shipped out just in time for MFF! After that we'll work on this month's monthly tutorial/pattern - I know we're cutting it a bit close this month but we've been busy with this Rush Order!

For this month's tutorial we'll go over how to draft your own fursuit tail pattern, and include a sample pattern that you can use to create your own tail. Stay tuned for that coming in a few days!

Waffle suit wips

This is the first time we've made a head bag but it was a fun challenge! We hope to make more of these in the future!

Doesn't look like much right now since it's just the "skin" of the feet but we've got a got portion of the feetpaws done. These sockpaws will be completely detachable via zippers.

Hey folks! We hope you enjoyed Halloween as much as we did! We're back to work starting with Waffle's suit! We still have to make Minty's head but that's temporarily on the back burner as we work on this rush order commission.

On an unrelated note it is so hard to photograph black coloured suits and not make them look like poop. The struggle is real you guys!

Minty's Feet - Commission Wip

Monthly Tutorial/Pattern - Puffy Paws

Hooo-boi! That took a while, this Puffy Pattern Tutorial was a huge undertaking and took a lot more time and energy than I thought it would. The tutorial is a total of 38 pages long! If we add the pattern itself plus the finished examples this tutorial is a total of 47 pages long! It is absolutely MASSIVE! I just hope it isn't massive because I'm over-explaining things then again I rather have too much information than not enough information!

Edit: I noticed a small error on the p...
