Quick Update

I foolishly forgot that February is shorter than other months. As such I'm going to be a tad late on this month's Monthly Bonus as I completely lost track of time and thought I still had a few days left in the month. Whoops!

Some pictures of the suit in action before we send it home!

All finished the feetpaws! All thats left now is to make some accessories and take pictures of the body/feet in action!

I will also finish up the Monthly Bonus and post it tomorrow (hopefully).

One foot done, and the second is almost done

Got the furred portion of the feet (minus the soles) sewn up and did a test fit on the foam form.

Finished the bodysuit, onto the feet!

The bodysuit is now fully sewn and we're working on handtrimming all the markings. We've got one half completely trimmed, and wanted to share some comparison shots before we do the other half.

After we finish up the trimming we'll be moving onto the feet.

The bodysuit is nearing completion! What's left to do for the body is to sewn on some zipper for the padding & tail, than attach the lining. From there we'll stuff everything and give the suit a nice trim to make those markings pop!

After that it will be onto the feet!

Got the torso all sewn and hemmed, just need to adjust the armpits as they are a little baggy.

Got the white part of the chest all sewn and the zipper installed. Also started on the coloured markings and the back.

Got the feet recarved to my satisfaction, onto patterning!

Working in redoing the feet, and I'm much happier with these ones.

Working on carving the foam for this bodysuit. Spent a fair bit of time carving the feet only to decide to redo them. That said the hips are fully carved, so once I have the feet done I will move onto to patterning.

Were getting started on Zion's bodysuit now that we are back in the studio. We've done a few sketches for the body design and are just waiting on the client to get back to us.

Zion repairs

I will be flying back home today after picking up Zion's DTD and making some repairs/alterations to his head. We replaced the eyes going from 2D to 3D, and reglued the teeth using a 24hr epoxy as the original teeth - which were attached with hot glue - struggled to stay on admist the hot climate. We also resized his head as it was a little tight around the neck.

That said once we're back home we'll be getting to work on his bodysuit. :)

As promised here are some pictures of this gorgeous suit in action! This suit was really fun to work on, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out! This handsome fellow is on their way home!

With Tephra completed it will be onto making Zion's bodysuit. This suit has been a long time coming, but we've had so much struggle trying to get the DTD from the customer. So much so that they are throwing in the towel and having us fly down to come pick it up in person - and do a few alteratio...

We were on track to have this completed tonight, but the customer is having second thoughts on the eyes they chose OTL

So I will be stopping here for the night so they can have a think.

Finished the shaving! Just gotta install the eyes and teeth now!

First shave complete, onto the detail trimming, than more shaving! After that we'll install the eyes, and teeth/tongue before touching up the shaving and sewing down the hair.

Mouth and eyes are now sewn! Now its onto the shaving!

Face has been sewn and glued down, and the hopd has been attached. Now its onto sewing the mouth before giving this bad boi a shave.

Got the face all sewn, just waiting on the customer to respond on their colour preferences for the nose and ear style (shaved vs fluffy).

One last wip before bed! Got the forehead markings sewn and all markings for the face cut out. All that's left is to cut out the ears and sew everything up!

Arighty, we've attached the lining, trimmed the hair, and neck markings and are now moving onto furing the face!
