Oh crap, did I miss one? I think I missed one! Yikes. Scary that I didn't even notice until now!

Weekly Update 20
I'm going to try really hard to get a comic out this week, but no promises. I made good progress this weekend but there's still quite a bit to do. Plus we got the cat going in for radiation treatment today. I'm going to TRY though.

I'm sure by now you are all sick of seeing Riley. I am too, that's why I drew her only about a dozen more times this week.
In all seriousness, I love this character. And merely because of the fact she hasn't shown up in the comic yet, I haven't had the chance to really nail down and settle on a more or less consistent look for her. If I can just say... this scene has been stuck in my head for years. Ever since I first decided to have Kiera conceal exactly how much she owed in Chapter 1. It has existed in this form, in my brain, dialogue unchanging, all this time. It is incredible to finally be able to draw it and publish it for everyone to see. So... yeah! Thanks for reading. :3

Weekly Update 17
Characters are nearly done, but the background and shading still needs a lot of work. I might try my new method of lighting/shading again, test it out, see what happens!
Today: Trying to finish this!
Tonight: More Terraria or Planetfall.
Tomorrow: Starting the next!
Challenges: Nothing really. Cats are okay, for now. At least for now until we make one of them radioactive. That should be fun.
Hanging out with Max
Kiva and Max are the best of friends. I often like to imagine what they'd do for fun in Kuserra. This seems like one such thing.
Though I've had this idea in my head for months, this was a lot of fun to finally sit down and draw.

My husband recently revealed to me a conundrum. I'm drawing comics at almost 3000x4000 pixels in size, because I like working on big canvases. Then I'm saving them out and uploading them. However, this is resulting in PNG files of about 8MB or more, which can, depending on internet connection, take a long time to download for viewing. We have very fast internet, and it's even taking us a significantly annoying amount of time to upload and download the images to and fro...

New smaller size for faster viewing/downloading. Turns out, uploading an 8MB image is pointless when most people can't even SEE it at that resolution, because no matter the size of the image, most browsers won't render it any larger. I'm gonna make a post about this soon, but I'm thinking of posting web-friendly smaller scale versions of the comic for people who just want to read the comic, and making the high-res images available to patrons as a sort of extra tier reward.
