Update for Nick: My agent pitched "Nick" to my publisher in June/July (dtv, who publishes G&G). We didn't have the same vision for the story, and that's okay. They would have wanted to age Nick up to at least 15, make the plot around Derrick clearer, less Adrian, add a more healing ending. Which is a no go for me. I still like the story as it is.
