Big Ear Energy

There’s this particular joy that comes with waking up and seeing that an unexpected snowstorm has brought the city to a halt. There is so much surrender in being buried under the snow. Everything’s still there, just covered and muffled, fluffy snowflakes against a baby blue sky. I hate being cold but I love how it feels when you come inside and it’s warm but your cheeks are still pink and numb. Frost-kissed and thawing. Perfect for a quiet Sunday.
