In Her Bedroom

I stayed with Elly for a few days in November and we took a lot of pictures. You may have seen a few of these on tumblr, but I wanted to share more with you. Her bedroom is just as dreamy as it looks, I've written about it often (like here). Her home is full of light and beautiful curiosities, just like she is. (The team of good kitties is icing on the cake.)

Long distance romance isn't easy, but the time we carve out when we visit is sublime.  I can't wait to be there again.

I couldn't resist getting these silk robes (that match our hair!) for the Fall slumber party.

We took reference photos for a few ideas she had for paintings. This is one of my favourites.

Speaking of favourites, here is Toothless. Elly has 3 cats but this big boy has a special place in my heart. He's notorious for being tough to win over, but we hit it off on my first visit and have been buddies ever since.

She keeps me close to her in so many ways.

This is Mouse, another good kitty. He looks like a sweet little devil here. That's pretty accurate. He's the baby of the group. (Apologies that I didn't get any good pics of Artemis this time, but he's made it into photo-shoots we've done in the past.)
