I haven't drawn any snerrets in a long time, and I created the dang species!

So here's a little OC I came up with: Sonata (not her real name), a cheerful lass who enjoys punk rock and livestreaming video games.

Inksgiving Postponed; Commissions Instead!

Well, after much thought, I decided I'm going to postpone Inksgiving this year and move it to December. Maybe call it "Ink-Vent Calender" or something.

MLP - Age Old Question

The MLP finale was pretty darn good. Sweet yet melancholic but overall satisfying.

This was originally going to just be posted as a sketch but then I decided to touch it up and then touch it up a bit more and then hours later I inked and colored it. Figures I should get myself out of this drawing slump I've been in for a while.

Finally finished this one!

This was largely an exercise in making detailed backgrounds that still fit within my personal art style. Did a lot of experimenting with different brushes and effects here.

Nightmare Night Shenanigans (For Rye Dimar Dragon)

MM: Deviled Egghead

This was one of the first and thus far, only parts of a series of themed drawings I came up with long ago called "A Dozen Eggheads". The plan was to make twelve pictures starring Twilight Sparkle, each one titled and themed around a pun involving "egghead" such as "Scrambled Egghead", "Scotch Egghead", and so on.

I put the idea aside because I couldn't come up with enough ideas to make a dozen pics. Maybe some day.

MM: Guillotine Gun

A concept for a ludicrously impractical weapon I came up with last night before going to bed.

An attempt at both making an anthro elephant as well as an anthro piece not involving nudity.

MM - Reformed Chrysalis

I always wanted to see Queen Chrysalis reformed ever since "To Where and Back Again", so I decided to take a stab at my own design for her new changeling queen form. 

MM - Dragon Thumbnails

I wanted to draw a full-sized dragon, but found my anatomy skills for dragons was a bit lacking, so instead I sketched out a bunch of quick thumbnails featuring dragons to get a better hand on their anatomy. The big one in the middle is actually a sketch based off of a picture of a lion's muscular system to get a better mental image of how dragons worked, since most western dragons traditionally have very leonine bodies.

Trying Something New

I know I try something new almost every week it seems, but this one is different.

First of all, a minor change- all Midweek Moleskine previews are going to be SFW from now on. I'll still draw NSFW stuff for MMs, but they'll be Patreon-exclusive so I can show off MM previews on Patreon without violating their ToS.

Next, a word about fetish art:

As you may already know, when it comes to commissions and Patreon rewards, I am willing to draw some fetishes- pregnancy, hyper bodie...

Dr. Volove and Freeze Frame (For WC Purdy)

A couple monthly patreon reward sketches for WC Purdy.

Dr. Volove, a super-scientist who attempted to implant his brain into a cloned super-powered body, but the clone began to degenerate, and thus was fitting into a robot to serve as both his new body and life support.

Freeze Frame carries a stolen high-tech backpack that allows him to slow time to a crawl around him, and uses his Tacheon Displacer pistol to do the same to other objects.

Things have been awful quiet lately here on Patreon. I know there are 32 of you out there, but where is everybody? Are you all doing alright? Are you getting my posts in your emails? I ask because I haven't been seeing a lot of comments or likes on my posts these last couple weeks, and I really need input from you guys, especially for the upcoming Inksgiving event. 

I'm not trying to sound like I'm desperate for attention; I just want to be certain I'm getting through to everyone. ...
