Ink's Warming Eve #1: Evil

Our first prompt comes from EmpressBridle, with "Evil"!  This here stars my two favorite MLP villains, Chrysalis and Tempest.

What would have Tempest done if she had met Chrysalis instead the Storm King?

Ink's Warming Eve!

It's Ink's Warming Eve, everypony! Every day for the month of December, I'll be posting a new digitally inked picture. But unlike Inktober, the prompts are not from a prewritten list, but from patrons like you!
This year we've theme, as voted on by patrons: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic!

All you have to do is write down one adjective in the comments section below- just a single descriptive word like "cute" or "scary" or "wavy"- and I'll dra...

For Lars777: Omega Rugal Kills Undyne

Commission for Lars777 of a follow-up to the previous commission, featuring Omega Rugal from King of Fighters brutally defeating Undyne the Un-Undying.

This is probably one of the most brutal pics I've ever drawn.

Blue VS. Black and White

With my recent round of Moleskines, I've given my sketches a blue overlay via Photoshop along with my usual touch-ups. I do this with all my inked and colored works as it allows me to see the ink lines better over blue lines, and recently I feel like it makes the picture look... better, for lack of a better word. I feel like my sketches look too messy in black and white. What do you all think?

Midweek Moleskine: Delta Rune Doodles

I finished playing Delta Rune a while ago, but haven't gotten around to drawing anything based on it.

Here we got a short comic with Lancer and Susie (based on a bit from The Brak Show), a creepier version of Lancer's head, and Susie's defining scene where she nearly gives Kris a bad case of not-face.

Midweek Moleskine: Magic Tavern Stuff

Been listening to Hello From the Magic Tavern for the last month or so and I'm hooked. I decided to draw some of my favorite characters the way I pictured them: Metanoid the homunculus, Blemish the creepy half-dwarf, Chuntttttt the shapeshift/talking badger, and of course Uisdore the Blue.

Midweek Moleskine: Cargo Bots

Some concepts for giant, cargo-hauling walkers.

Midweek Moleskine: Bat Countess

A vampire bat similar to the previous one, in a more detailed dress.

Decided to give her separate arms and wings to make things less complicated.

Midweek Moleskine: Beefy n' Busty

Some bulls and cows, including one hellish heifer.

Midweek Moleskine: Polar Opposites

A polar bear and her penguin boyfriend, plus some preliminary drawings based on reference pictures.

Midweek Moleskine: Jimmy the Loch

A neat late-night idea I had for a kind of ghost- a former mobster who uses his cement shoes as a makeshift warhammer.

No MMs this week

Midweek Moleskine: Misc. Spaceships

Couldn't think of what to draw for this week's MM, so I just started mashing up random geometric shapes and turning them into spaceships. which turns out to be a pretty good strategy overall for drawing spaceships.

Midweek Moleskine: Vampiress

A vampiress bat (vampire battess?) I've been working on. Also an excuse to dabble in drawing long hair with actual references this time- most of the time if I'm drawing hair I just end up drawing a wiggly mass of amorphous scribbles.

Midweek Moleskine: The Alchemist's Mask

This was directly inspired by a dream I had- it was like watching an old animatic or a slide show, illustrating this poem with old woodcut-looking drawings while a soft voice narrated in poetry form.

When I woke up, I could only barely recall what had basically happened, though my strongest memory was the very last stanza of this poem here, which I wrote down immediately after waking up, drawing the little mask next to it as well. The rest of it I came up with over the course of the week. I'm ...

Midweek Moleskine: Robot Guts

Some sketches working out the design for this giant robot I drew a while back. I'm trying to go for something that looks huge and old but still holding together, without looking like a zombie.

Midweek Moleskine: Sweater Memes

I've missed a lot of bandwagons regarding characters wearing impractically sexy sweaters/shirts, but not this time!

For reference, here's the initial post that started this particular meme.

Midweek Moleskine: Snake Scales

Decided to do some more studies in things I can't draw- snake scales!

Now, I love drawing snakes; I literally spent a whole year of elementary school drawing almost nothing but snakes so I could get a grip on how to draw them. But scales are a pain in the ass to render realistically. I've gotten away with making stylized suggestions of scaly skin in the past, but trying to draw them one-by-one without it looking like a mess is a nightmare.

It'd be a lot easier if the tutorials I'v...

Midweek Moleskine: Cars

Got a new moleskine journal! For the first page I decided to draw some cars I could see outside my window. I don't draw cars like, at all and I hate drawing them, but I need the practice.

Postponing Inkvember

So, I've been given it a bit of thought and realized that I've been a bit hasty regarding Inkvember. Considering that I still have several commissions on the backburner to do, I will thus be postponing Inkvember to the month of December instead.

I apologize for disappointing anyone, but between work and commissions I don't know if I'd reasonably have time to work on Inkvember pieces as well, at least in a way that'd guarantee quality output for either one, and I'd hate to post...
