Cypress Sculpt update!

Hey guys! Another update here. I took about a week or so off from working on him to let me eyes rest and pick out errors/issues that need to be fixed. (I often do the same thing with my drawings, though it happens much quicker for those). With that rest, I was able to pick out some issues with the face/hair and general areas like the abs and back, so those were the main spots of focus for the last few sessions. Traditional Werewolf Sketch!

Had some minor power outages in the last couple of days (not uncommon in my neighbourhood with seasonal wind storms lol) So, Yesterday, I pulled out a sketchbook and pencilled in a werewolf. Still a bit rusty, since I haven't done a lot of traditional stuff lately (and YES, I may have finger gestured on the paper a few times in the process... 😂)

Finished some more portraits! These ones are for LeavesDrinke and Nicolò Piccinini! I've had the pleasure of drawing Nicolò's Orca a few times already, but his updated design was a fun challenge! LeavesDrinke's Gorilla was fun as well, with an animal base that I haven't done a lot of 👍

So far, these have been great practice, So I'm definitely looking forward to doing more of these!

Cypress Sculpt Update + After Battle WIP

Hey guys! Hope everyone has been having a great Weekend! Here are some more updates on the Cypress sculpture. I've done a lot on it since the last update, so I'll just list off some of the changes and additions:

-Repositioned the left arm so that it's pulled back (makes more sense with the pose), and finished sculpting the left hand.

-Fixed a portion of the right glute to add a bit more muscle definition in that area

Cypress Update!

Hey guys! Just another update on le Moo. I've done some refining in certain areas, mainly the whole back (🍑 included lol), The chest and face, and I've started work on the hands, (one is already blocked in. That's all on him for now though.

Tomorrow I'm gonna switch back to drawing for the day, so I'll have some more updates in that area for you guys soon!

T-Short Wolf WIP, Armoured Wolf, and Cypress Update

Hey guys! Hope everyone has had a great week! So a few things to show today.

First up, with the recent buzz around the T-shorts wolf (I believe he's still yet to be named lol), I was inspired to make a fourth one. A number of people had suggested to draw him with all 3, so that's what I'm doing 😂. Hope this comes across as adorable and goofy as I want it to lol.

Cypress Sculpt Update 4

Another update for you guys! The torso is now mostly blocked in as well as the neck, and most of the right arm. I'll still have to adjust certain areas to have a nice silhouette, and better proportions, but it's going fairly well so far. 👍

Also did a bit more work on the face, and he now has some temporary horns too lol!

Cypress Sculpt update 3 🐮

Next update for you guys! I've blocked in the legs and some of the lower torso. I've also added in a stand in head, just to get an idea of what size I want it to be. I may adjust it depending on how it compares to the shoulders and the chest muscles, once I get those blocked in. But overall, I'm happy with the progress so far!

Cypress Sculpt update and WIP

Hey guys! Hope everyone is having a great Weekend! Here's another update on Cypress.

To start, I ended up altering the pose slightly, because, as I began blocking in the front leg, I noticed that there was quite a bit of instability in the pose, and my putting pressure on the armature was moving it around enough that I could foresee it becoming a bit of a hindrance later on lol. Sculpting Cypress

The pose in mind is similar to what I have in these refs, but maybe a bit more of an aggressive walk. So far, I've built the armature stand and the armature, but the fun stuff comes next 👀👀

Finally Done! Took a bit longer than I'd planned initially, but then, the Cyclops wasn't part of the idea at first lol. Either way, I'm pleased with how it turned out!

I don't do a lot of sad emotional pieces, but I wanted to take a character that maybe doesn't express that emotion too often, and just let him have that moment. (I think it's important to have your characters explore those range of emotions too as it can allow for personal growth.)

The famous (or infamous) Minotaur of the Labyrinth.

Finally finished with this one! Once again, this was probably one of the more complex of lighting that I've done for a piece and also anatomy-wise, (added with it being a back shot, which I'm still not as practiced with at the front views lol) all made this one quite the test. With that said, I still enjoyed working on it and really challenging myself.
