- Decided to go ahead and finish this after all before I get to the gloves, reason being that it would've been too long a wait between releases.
- I'm pretty much done with the textures on this. Might tweak some things tomorrow before I compress for the game, but these are most likely final. Quite happy with the look overall.
- Small quick preview 'till release, I'll have more pics/angles when it's released.
- I'm hoping to get this, the necklace and a quick recolor text...
- Finished low poly game model + normal map
- Around 31k tris. Not extremely optimized but not too heavy either. I wanted 3D zippers in the model and puffier/rounder spikes so polycount went up a bit because of those. Most other details like bolts/stitching are 3D too.
- Fully cleaned and ready to texture. I'm kinda itching to texture this right now rather than go back and do the gloves like I said previously, but I guess I'll see what I'm in the mood for tomorrow.
- Vest highpoly done. Will probably go ahead and take this to lowpoly game model state and go back to the gloves after.

- Last 2 Amara set pieces in basemesh form, ready for highpoly/detailing work.
- I haven't been posting too many WIPs lately, this is primarily why. I said I would do the vest first in one of the last posts but it was a very tiring piece to model due to needing constant shape adjustments, so I did the gloves when I wasn't feeling working on the vest.
- Tried my best to match the original in shape for the vest especially. Unfortunately it's never going to be exactly the same due ...

- The crystal rock thingy took a bit longer than expected, I wasn't getting the results I wanted and had to experiment with it.
- Might be a bit challenging to reproduce this effect ingame, it's mostly material/shader based, I guess we'll see.

- made the necklace model for the Amara outfit/armor. Making this lowpoly, texturing and putting it ingame should be very fast as this is a simple model, might finish a good part of that tomorrow.
- after this piece is done, I'll be doing the vest next. Not a lot of people voted for the gloves (and honestly I'd consider dropping those entirely and moving on to other things, if the whole thing wasn't voted for) so those go last.

- Textures for this asset completed, took a bit longer because of the frayed strands on the bottom, those need to be done and masked manually unfortunately. Looks very cool overall (Open the images in a new tab,...
I'm adding a new perk for all tiers from now on, patron suggestions.
What it is, is basically exactly what it sounds like: you suggest my next project and if I like your suggestion, I'll make it a reality. If you ever wanted to see something specific being made but maybe you don't have the skills, patience, not interested in 3D modeling or maybe you just want to see a higher quality rendition or my take on it, now there's a chance that can happen.
I'm going to put the rest of t...
- this is just one of those things that seems simple on the surface, but once you get started, it never seems to end, cause there's always more to add to it. Fortunately it finally ended :)
- this is a bit different than the original concept, went for a more draped look for the cloth and slightly longer. The original just seemed way too flat and while it works for the cartoony style that BL3 has and would've been much easier to make it like that, I wanted something that provides more i...

EDIT 17/09/2019:
I've updated the archive to fix a first person issue and some clipping with the "_tweaked" version of the boots, if you downloaded this before this edit, make sure to get this new version !
- Despite the title, these are pretty much done 95-99%, so consider this more like a quick sneak peak/tease rather than an actual WIP.
- Some very small adjustments and fixes to the texture need to be done, but aside from that, I'm very happy with how these look. I'm pretty much on schedule, so release is very likely to be Monday as I said in the last post.
- I didn't intend to do it originally, but I might make a quick texture pack for these as well, mostly recolors since the d...

- Finished lowpoly game mesh:

- As I said in the last WIP post, this model is a bit flatter than something like the jeans, so quality is lower in comparison, however since...

- Handsculpting shirt progress on Amara undershirt.
- I wanted to actually do the waist piece first but started on this and kept going and... well I didn't stop, so might as well get this done first now.
- Most likely not going to keep too many 3d details in the game model from this. Most detail is too small/fine and time consuming to be kept in a game model, so final model will be a bit more on the flatter side and I'm going to rely more on the normal map.
- My GPU should ...
- Started work on both the waist belts/sash and upper undershirt pieces for the Amara armor.
- Not much to see in regards to detail for now, meshes are still in block-in territory or low-poly bases, at this stage I'm mostly interested in big shapes/volume and how everything fits together.
- Outfit's starting to come along overall though, much more interesting to look at with more pieces on.

- Low poly Amara boots model, fully mapped. A bit of clean-up must be done before, but these are basically ready to be textured.
- This is a bit heavier than I'd normally do it, polycount wise (47k tris), but there were so many cool details in the model that I just didn't find it in my heart to butcher this down to a flat ugly model just for optimizations sake.
- However because of it, I can do this:
