Egad, the deer is scared now! I have stated my case in that Vixy is NOT canon to the main chapters.
Talk it out amongst yourselves! I will be in the woods eating young grass and bones (yes, deer eat bones for calcium) until things calm down.
Clarifying my canon
Vixy is an AU tale to the main story! The confusion seems to spark from this comment I made as a follow-up to Alastor's sorrow in "Denouement":
"And perhaps years later, the main story begins following this, who knows? X3"
When I said that, it was to lighten any sad moods. Notice I added "perhaps" and "who knows".
Remember, in the recent Valentine's audio, he said he'd never experienced love before he met Listener; the Valentine's audio, in my opinion, IS canon.

Seems the latest audio is a bit upsetting. I apologize for the sorrow, but since it was the finale for the Vixy chapters, it needed to have closure. I thought carefully about Alastor's reaction and his emotions to learn not only such massive news, but also realizing his time with Vixy is at last done. He realizes his decades-long admiration was all for nothing, so naturally he will be saddened. I imagine he'd be a good father, perhaps even a little too protective of his offspring.
