I know it ruins the entire month's worth of work to see such inconsistency, but I am pleading with you to forgive my lack of attention to detail. 🙏 Also, I wonder who she was?... A bad egg, that's for sure.

Full disclosure, I think "Hidden" might be one of the ones I re-do for November. I just love how that face came out. Rarely do I do a drawing of Emma where I think I really hit the mark and this is one of them. (And yes, those are in fact anatomically correct blueberries in "Fresh.")

Inktober/Drawtumn Prompts!

Bouncy bouncy bouncy! I gotta say, this outfit is ridiculous and I had to make up a version of that was coherent. It's slightly different in every episode of this show. It's almost like anime in the early 80s was made on a shoestring budget, and that also translated to clothing looking like brightly color shoestrings.

So it begins! The extremely popular and recognizable Mun-Mun from 1982's Time Bokan: Gyakuten Ippatsuman chewing on a stick of that magic gum. Okay, so, what I'm doing for September will be a little different. Instead of 2 polished, well rendered pieces I'll be doing something closer to a mini comic with minimally detailed colors. Like, 5-6 shots over a few pages. Quantititty over qualitititty this time. Just letting y'all know so you're not surprised! She's a lot of fun to draw, and she's gonna have a lot of fun expressions. :D See you in September!

Tifa/Power Girl Beach Episode Part 2

And there we go! Maybe Tifa will think next time when filling out a 40-foot long contract before eating some ice cream from a mysterious vendor wearing both a top hat AND board shorts. The water was super fun to work on, I'm as proud of it as I am of the new techniques I'm trying out with the blueberry rendering. I hope they look a bit plumper and juicier than normal!

Howdy folks! Figured I'd do a State of the Blueberry Union for what the rest of the year holds on here (Tifa/PG will be up in a few days max). My plans are thus:

• October: Inktober

• November: You vote on your 2 favorite Inktober sketches to be turned into full paintings

• December-January: Jacko meme for a character, the plan being a normal style jacko front/back angle in December, and the blueberry version in January, totaling 4 paintings.

Bachelorette Showcase! - Haley

Okay, I swear to god I'm working on the Tifa/PG thing. lol I've been wanting to test out a watercolor style for a while now for certain characters, and I'm really happy with how this little test came out. The Stardew Valley comic will mostly likely be in a style similar to this, if you can even see much of a difference that is. I think it really works for the quaint, countryside vibes, plus it's fun as hell. I think this would be good for Zelda as well. Time will tell!

The results for my poll the other day were pretty conclusive. So I have now made a new $12/month tier for those patrons who wish to contribute more to the cause. As of right now, there is no guarantee of exclusive monthly posts for it, though I will do my best to have at least a sketch or two up there not only to show my gratitude but also to keep me moving forward with these larger projects that have been on the back burner.

But who knows? Having an excuse to work on the Stardew Valley...
