Lots of different things this week.
TLS Comic: When I think of an idea I think is cute or funny, I generally put it into the game. Occasionally, however, I have an idea for the cast that isn't suited to the fundamental medium of game sprites/dialogue. This little comic with Annikath is an attempt to explore one of those alternate ideas. Hopefully Patreon doesn't squash or mangle the image. I may put it up in other internet places if anyone has suggestions.

With the huge block of Orgasmic Empire scenes done, we have been doing more bouncing around within the second chapter. Some affection scenes, some plot scenes, even Orcent x Kara (which breaks the pattern but we felt like doing).
Take a look at Carina's first time scene. We tried doing something new to accommodate scenes with long introductions before the sex, reusing some layers but hopefully giving a distinct feel. If it seems to work, we could do it for some others as well.

First, look at the new Ulfina sprite! After a long wait, the pixel artist has completed her update (old version placed second so you can compare). This is our last chance to get changes without hiring someone new, so please look closely. This update involved a ton of work, yet it's not that exciting. I'm putting it out to reduce duplicate reports, and so new patrons expressing interest can have a better experience. For anyone considering replaying, I'd suggest waiting until a later build. This one is mostly polish, fixes, and new minor assets, not additional features/content.

The beginning of 2021 has been surprisingly clear for me, allowing me to focus on work... I'm afraid that time has come to an end, because I'm getting hit from all sides. Though not the final version, this is a pretty decent polish build. More QoL changes, lots of typos fixed, more balance tweaks. Unless a new error has been introduced, I intend to let the game sit in this state for a while.

Big new set! Usually I try to select a varied combination, both in characters and content, but this one came out unusual. We transitioned from Phase 2 to Phase 3 at a time when I was really absorbed in other work, so Annikath took it on herself to do all the Orgasmic Empire scenes, since we'd already established the details for those.

This week was divided into thirds: partly working on TLS 0.56.0, partly ongoing OEA improvements, partly other business stuff I'd put off during my more intense focus. Most likely, work on OEA won't stop abruptly, it will taper off over a period of time. There are also a number of things I don't want to do, like get screenshots, update the Steam page, and see about a trailer. The plan was to taper the final OEA work out over a longer period while work on TLS 0.56.0 ramped up as my main focus.

New weekend, new build, new thread. This isn't a final polish release, but multiple people have finished the game now, so I wanted to put out a release with all their feedback taken into account. I'm actually still expecting some quite heavy feedback from a few people, so 0.4.5 or so should be the most polished. But this version should be stable and many issues have been smoothed out. ^-^

It's finally time! This release lets you play the game beginning to end: there are some placeholder maps, and I hope to improve various elements, but this version will offer a complete experience.
NOTE: If you are playing on a previous version, please switch your saves to 0.4.2+ before playing too far. Not only will it be a better experience, it's highly important for overall game balance.

The wait isn't an issue of content not being done, most of it is finished. It isn't a lack of testing, though given all the changes it could likely use some more.
