Accelo did me a favor and let me put color on this boy! Tried doing the background by hand... very fun, as it turns out! This really boosted my confidence with color stuff.

I'm a bit late with the round-up again, but this time it's because I was figuring out a new format for it!
While it is nice for me to post the round-ups to the feed as .zip files, I don't think it's as easy for you. You have to download a thing, you can't be 100% sure what you're looking for is in what you downloaded, the files are big and take a lot of bandwidth... it sounds kind of frustrating!

Wooh, I need to play with the contrast on this piece a lot. But I'm getting somewhere! Colors for the characters are in, and now I can focus on the background.
Xjal gave me some wonderful photos of mountain-y areas for the scene around them, so I might do some itty bitty studies or something to get the vibe right.
Excited for his feathers though! They've got a red iridescence that I think will be really fun to play with.

If you've been a patron for a while, you may recognize this character. Her name is Morgan, and she's a kangaroo made of food. Peach cobbler, to be precise. She started as just a fun design to draw, but what started as just a visual rework has turned into a lot of character development.
