Wow. This is the place it all started. I had a friend ask me today, why nudes? I've had different presentations of this question over recent years. Here was my response today:
"Why do I always shoot nudes? I’m a nudist. I was born naked, as we all were, and I grew up in a very free environment. My parents were very liberal, evolved hippies, who took my brother and I to places in nature of extreme beauty... Wilbur hot springs in California, St. John virgin island, Acadia national park ...

These photographs were taken of me by photographer Liam Scott on a roof in Nolita in lower Manhattan just over a year ago, just after my twenty-eighth birthday. This was also a time of great change and introspection, similar to how I'm feeling today, and most days for that matter. I had just moved back to NYC a month or two prior to these images being taken. I had moved from Brooklyn to Colorado. The location of this shoot was ironic, as I had stayed in almost that exact same building a year ...

I've always felt a connection with nature. Today I really felt it, the sun on the skin through my window, as i picked up Terry Tempest Williams' book, The Hour of Land, her collection of words on national parks, I remembered what I love: being outside, naked, in the sunlight and moonlight, against immense, beautiful backdrops of mother earth. I hope to raise enough money soon so that I may pursue a newfound dream: to visit every national park (first in the US and later the world) and photogra...

Christine is from France. We met here in NYC through our friend Ramiro. She is such a special person, soulmate in my life, and a true gemini. we took these photos one day in the autumn of 2018 in Rockefeller Park north of Manhattan when I had just moved back to the city. We laughed, meditated, ate sushi bowls and snacks around the lake, and took these photos in less than ten minutes. Christine used to model but was also a model agent. When we took these photos she had just returned from livin...

This is me + kat. We were born into different families but i see her not only as my sister but as my twin. We look very similar, and act very similar. Sometimes its scary, but always wonderful. Sometimes when I look at her face i see me. It's so strange. I know we look different, and we are different, but sometimes it's confusing and hard to tell, especially at first place or when flipping through photos, phones, so fast, at the speed of light. I love her to death. We met high in the sky, in ...

As the world continues to spin, my mind grows and eyes open. There are so many new and exciting opportunities, ideas, and people. I feel so blessed to have such a strong network of friends and family on this planet. These photographs are self-portraits that I took in Sardinia during the summer of 2015 when I was traveling with my family throughout this magical island in Italy. Time is so precious. Looking back on my life, the many ups and downs that I've encountered thus far, I'm so grateful ...

Today is a hard day, a hard time. It is the new year. Although I'm excited, happy and thankful for all that is happening and ahead, like many, it is hard to ignore our world on fire and and the wars at hand. I'm calling this series "sangre por sangre" / blood for blood because these words hit me hard last night, as I was listening in on a conversation about our current global crisis / state of affairs. Not only do we mirror one another, those we surround ourselves with and come into contact w...

My thoughts in the middle of the night last night. And self-portrait from Tulum last year.
Thinking
Speaking
Of our time here on the planet
Why
Why are we here
Why are we here
Why are we here
I want to expand time
Freeze time
When will it stop

This is some footage from my first major performance art piece... presented at the Adam & Eve show in Miami at Art Basel produced by @sjbernier18 ... I titled the piece “poetic metaphors,” words from some of the music I put together for it. The intention of this work is to normalize & desexualize the n...

The deep blue sea
See
All of it embodies me
Us
It’s changing tides
Rising and falling with the moon
Time
Space
Sedate
Take the time to meditate
Erase nothing
Everything
Memories
Time clears all
Reveals all
Please don’t go
Fall
Come back
Stay forever
Leave
Go
Into the nothingness
Emptiness

My first time modeling for David on his roof in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in late October, just after I turned 29, overlooking the everchanging New York City skyline. Shot with: Pentax 67. Film was 220 Kodak Porta, 400 speed. This shoot was a huge growing and healing experience for me. I’m actively working on seeing the everyday beauty in my body and embracing its everchanging form. Like the skylines, cities, mountains, our planet, we too change everyday.

I was invited to Art Basel in Miami last minute to be featured in a show called ‘Adam & Eve’ this past weekend. I created a performance art piece - poetic metaphors - to accompany my nude in nature work. Much more content coming soon, but for now here is a preview.

These images were taken when I was 22 years old in North Carolina. The first few images of me were taken by Kara Souza. We hiked all day and all weekend together and took pictures of ourselves and one another. It was a magical time. Young, wild & free, we hiked naked together, photography was, and still is, my therapy.
