He sent waves of mana into the weaver's body. Parts of the man's body had fallen to the corruption and it had taken hold, so it resisted Kai's mana viscously, not letting him destroy it and even fought against it.

It was his second contact with such creatures from the abyss and he had to say that both the encounters had left a weird taste in his mouth.
He didn't know if it was something to do with the miasma surrounding their body, but he felt like he had eaten something bad and needed to let it out.
The situation was getting worse and worse. More and more cracks were appearing on the pillar of light and from them, lesser abyssal horrors were floating out, their dark mist flowing everywhere.
