Sketches

I have a few old/odd and unfinished/not-meant-to-be-finished sketches I thought I'd still share.

The first one has the freshest sketches of them all, with thumbnails for the last illustration and High brothers that I've sketched today. 

Next is the oddest one, as it has some experimentations with Vega's head shapes and her quadrupedal stance (yup, she's totally capable of the last one without any changes to the initial design)

Announcement: Soldier Tier's reward's style

Following the change of interest from lined works to paintings, the only available style for the Soldier Tier, for now, will be a sketch painting, which means that line/flat color pages will be unavailable starting from December 1 2021

Apologies for the inconvenience to everyone who has been interested in that particular style! It is possible that something else might be added instead to diversify the pool in the future.

Not everything is lost, - found one called IbisPaint x and it seems and feels to be decent enough, hooray.

Tested out new pad, it's so odd to draw on something other than PC, might leave it for more b/w sketches as color picking, at least in autodesk sketchbook, and layering colors is just awful. Might try some other software though, maybe there it would be better.

I have awesome news! I don't know what influenced the performance, be it a new Windows' update or expiration of the trial version of Clip Studio, but now it works! And in order to save this little piece I became a happy owner of a new software <3

Also, more updates are coming soon! Every Soldier waiting on their works: they are all in progress! May take some time as I've left the most complex ones at the end~

Matrixoid Phosphene

So! It was Ciao's idea to turn their human character, Phosphene, into a matrixoid after the "human face" issue surfaced yet again. 

To say that I was happy to hear this idea is understatement, as it's one of the lore-friendliest ones there could be, as anyone of organic origin, and intelligent consciousness, can become a matrixoid. Albeit it's one way trip to be trapped within a matrix, yet one that is full of possibilities.

Eiden, Xera

Doodles from a few days ago. Bought a 36 color set of marco chroma pencils to try out and they felt really nice and soft, easy to sharpen and blend. The only minor issue with them is (at least, to me) that they need to be fixated with a spray, because the lines kinda falling apart and smudge when sketchbook is actively being used and pages flipped around.
