Tried a little bit of interactions from Rah's side. 

Also, that thing in his hands on the left is something like a belly dancing belt, hmm... dancing Rah, that would be quite something.

And yup, hounds keep getting bigger x'D I dunno why it happens, probably need to draw them together even more to get a better feeling of accurate proportions.

Paper testing

I really was quite skeptical about quality of this paper (due to its texture, I had a lot of bad experiences with such stripes), yet after I tried it it feels awesome, the colors stay bright and pen line flows really well, so if you'll ever look for a watercolor paper check mix-media 300 g/m² from Canson (not sponsored or anything! I'm just used to thin paper for every media, and the change of thickness brings a brand new experience)

Old ideas

Oops, forgot to scan these sketches. They were ideas for hounds before the current design; so yup, I definitely like our actual companions much more than these mishaps of evolution.

Tried to stick just to one watercolor brand and was a bit disappointed in it, so decided to use gouache on top to fix a problem with saturation that it had.

I'll scan it when it dries up~

Hey guys, I definitely want to tease you even more, here is the sheet full of future illustrations, two from which were already made and third, with the pyramid, is on its way~

P.S.: once all illustrations from this side will be done, I will reveal sketches and compare them to the final results, so don't think that I'm that cruel!

Okay, I admit that such illustrations are a whole new beast; I remember the times of the Last Chance comic, and it was much easier because of the sketchiness of the style, yet this one is quite something, and I feel like with more of similar works we can open a brand new page for the project and the characters, but for now our guinea pig will be Rah and his companions. I also will try to include Vega in here, yet I still have to practice human faces so they wouldn't terrify anyone, including ...

Forgotten legacy

Travels have taken Rah to many places all across the Arnainskiy Cross galaxy, and who knows, maybe one day they will take him even beyond the known cosmos.

Experimental coloring. At first I wanted to make one color background and only tentacles and eyes glowing in the dark. One day I'll make it too. Right now here is the today's result~

Sketchbook tour | Aliens and their worlds

I think I just died from the inside. Yet now I know that I have a fear of speaking in English. Like, it took me eight tries to even say the intro without tripping over the words (which I can't say about the rest of the video :D ). I feel like making them will be a challenge on its own for me, but oh welp, there are no coming back and I'll torment everyone (including myself) till they, the videos and my speaking skills, become better.

I also want to release videos for you sooner than Fri...

Hmm, I wonder should I rate it 18+ or not... just kidding. Still not sure about the scars' pattern, but it's definitely something close to this one. It also covers his back quite a lot, so we need a few more nude sketches to figure it out~

Well, I went totally mad with colors on these... Nevertheless, the last page is here and the sketchbook is finally finished! And that's means that now I can work on the script and some notes for the video. Still I would like to wait for the table to arrive, because due to my current one (2.5 meters of narrow, immobile nonsense) I can't place lights opposite to each-other, and I would rather not want to film it on a stool (or do I...?). And yup, the tripod arrived as well~
