I knew I wanted to give her a slide. So that is what her sweep will be. It has very long reach too but it doesn't start up as fast. The crouching set now just needs:
• Gethit
• Block
• Hard Punch

Back on developing sprites for Texas. I did quite a few animations for Jesse and Jane and got their play style done in the game pretty well. But now I need to get more fundamentals for Texas to make her more playable. I'm hoping to do the Crouching Attack animations, Throw and Defensive Option done all next week. So that is 4 attacks, 1 throw and a headbutt. So I feel its doable.

Just so you know I've updated the running speeds for most of my characters since I didn't realize how many of them were too slow. Just so you know Texas isn't average speed, she's actually fairly slow. Check her running speed in her game and you may get why I didn't that. :p (Her backdash is ridiculous though)

Second video that Noone Important shared with me. A lot of ridiculous stuff. My general approach is to only try to stamp out infinites if something has potential to be. So you may see some examples of that in here.

Noone Important sent me a combo demonstration video over at Weight gaming showing these combos for a lot of the characters. I asked his permission to share these since they are really crazy combos. Some of these tricks may lead to infinites so I'm glad I was made aware of them but otherwise I think everything in this video is really cool.

This is Jesse and Jane's running hip check. I plan on having them get ready for the Leap Hog after this. Seeing this work will be a huge moral boost since I haven't programmed them at all yet.

This ate way more time than I wanted. Also since I didn't stream Friday I didn't even get the attack portion for this done yet. Well, I guess I'll try to tackle that on Sunday. I'm not that proud of this animation but I'm behind schedule now since I went a few days without getting more progress done on Texas and I really don't like that. So you're fine to critique this but I gotta move on. So I don't recommend it.

Jesse (Blue) and Jane(Red) will be "assist" for Texas. The game design direction is that they can "backfire" and just harm Texas. "Backfire" is in quotes since they won't even go after the enemy, they'll go after Texas. You'll have to dodge and try to trick them into hitting your enemy.

Now Texas has limited bullets and she can run now. She's fairly playable now too, but doesn't have much to do. I'll try to get a playable version out just so you know what to expect soon.

With this animation all of her standing normals are done. I've made really good progress on Texas and now I feel like I can slow down since even though she's not much, I could play a basic game with her at this point.

Both Light kicks done, Crouching still needs to get done but that's later. The Jumping Light kick is also gonna be used for the running attack.

Basic projectile done for Texas, I have a few ideas about how to make it stand out and feel like her own game but that's gonna take a lot more assets so I'll make it play like that down the line.
Idea is that the bullet is powerful but she doesn't get to reload as Enorma does. But she gets bullets back if a rouge hits or something. This is why I need to be further along to make it play like that.

The end of Texas in-game combo. She has this in MUGEN and I'll try to program it to have more damage if you do it.
Now she can be knocked down. Which is the last necessary animation I needed before moving on to attacks.

I've been wanting to do her as a guest character for a while. So I figured lets just create some assets and see where it goes. I can't promise I'll finish soon or even that its gonna be time dedicated to her. But I like the ideas I got for her and I'm really curious if that will be fun. This will be a fun collab with Squashedflat I hope.

This move is ridiculous, uses a fat ass, and fits the character based on their abilities. I love it. Animating ridiculous attacks that fit the character is so fun. I have been wanting to do this for a bit so I just did it on impulse last night.
When Jiggly runs or wall jumps her jumping Hard Kick turns into this. It does more damage than a normal hard kick and hits multiple times. To help break armor and just feel good.

Oh man I finish Andy at the start of this month and I've only been able add a few attacks to Sarjiri. Try her out, fight against her and see if she's fun. I honestly wanted to fully release her for Christmas but she didn't' make completion by that time. And even if I gave everyone a freebie I worry about peeps redistributing it. So it will be released here. I can at least let every Patreon try her out.
She has 2 supers now and they aren't hard to fin...

I've coded this move on tonights stream but I want it to have a lot more polish. These are the frames I have so far and yeah she'll do a forth wall interaction by crushing her opponent against it.

I went back and added more frames to this to make it look like she's coming at the camera. Instead of just doing a butt drop. But I also used the other frame for an inbetween now. Once get this working she'll have another attack that players will need to worry about.
