Meet Maya

@eatdiemayaskye is a brand-new model/ actress, also INFP formerly of the Midwest and Southwest as I am. We shot yesterday in the same studio I recently worked with Malika and Maria in, knowing that there was more I wanted to do there with different effects. In our 2 hours Maya and I probably shot more variety and looks and images more than any other first shoot, maybe because she is also a dancer. More from our shoot to come in the next few weeks!

Val - Monster Car

Columbus Ohio was experienced 3x and it was awesome as my Midwestern friends are just way out there. There also was this really cool art car Val and I made full use of, created by the artist Jacob Tanner.

Sawyer - Shoot 2 Pt. 5 Homebody

Rounding out the second shoot with Sawyer for now with a bunch of her vintage possessions including the claw foot bathtub. Shooting around tubs is really difficult in small bathrooms so I always have to concoct some ridiculous method of lighting and shooting, in this case clipping a light to the top of the tub and standing on the toilet. Another reason the design freak in me says "just shoot indoors with disposable cameras" because the chaotic nature is ok and expected in that style.

Cheyanne + Hexmotel as night creatures in 2021. Hexmotel did Cheyanne's hmua for this! For a brief period of time I had this cheap night vision camera and loved the truly bizarre imagery I'd get with it. Being a cheap tool, it died in short order.

Mystery Suspension at Evoke 2 (EXTREMELY NSFW)

An art nude hooked and suspended in a performance at Evoke 2 in Santa Monica. Shot in 2018 in a 1 room Air Bnb with my kids present. Alina and I did really complicated shoots and shoots that are completely no-frills like this one where she just exhibited some acting and a few diff fashion looks. Honestly I like the no-frills shoots slightly more as far less can go wrong.

Mosh - Bond Girl 2012/ 2025

I revised a bunch of old Mosh images using the modern AI masks in Lightroom, this time in color as a lot of the people buying instax wide on Ebay prefer color. They were shot in the studio of a photographer named Alan Amato, styled by Jacci Jaye in the Bond girl style and Vital Vein latex in the red ones. I included a few originals so you can see what the intent was at the time (including the ripped up latex mashup images, shot intentionally for that).

Sawyer - Expressions

One of my favorite things to photograph is expressive moments - some people have no filters to their expressions, like Sawyer or Cheyanne. Actresses are of course great at channeling many spirits through their minds/ souls/ bodies. I don't end up shooting with the non-expressive people, or if it happens once, it doesn't happen again.
