Working on a new Vamps suit 🚀
I wanted to try new combinations with all my new tech-complements for my original character (Vamps Space Ranger), mostly because with the last all-black suit (the one I destroyed during last Vamps miss-adventure with the alien tentacles on the jungle planet) all the complements/details were lost too much because of the dark base... But I don’t know if I’m convinced with this light grey bodysuit as a new base. Any thoughts?
Maybe I’ll try this same combination of complements with my red "rubber" suit as a base.
Also, new raygun for Vamps, yay!! ⚡️

Here is the 1st part of my new Vampira set!
I know these are a bit repetitive photos but Vampira didn't have much performance range during her Plan 9 From Outer Space appearance. So to get a little variety I've also added at the end of the set the last pictures we took in color ❤️
I already know what my favorite photos are, but I'd love to hear about yours because with some pics I'll make new poster editions!
Tomorrow I'll share with all pin-up tier (and up) subscribers the whole boudoir part! And after this little Halloween break we'll be back with Star Trek content, Tendi and T'Lynn on Risa and the new sets of next month!

Oh-la-la the Vampira Boudoir... now in Techni-color!
This was the tightest point I could wear the corset. And I couldn't hold it as long as I wanted to, I really don't know how women used to wear such extremely tight corsets during entire movie shoots (or throughout the day).
The good news is that now that I know I can hold a corset this tight I feel ready to cosplay 7 of 9! hahaha

Yesterday I already shared with you the making-of, the process until just before the shooting. Just after sharing the photos with you, it started the action. It was a night shooting in which I had a spectacular time, I am thrilled with how this set turned out.
I have worked before on big productions with many people involved, but normally as you know for my own projects I usually work alone or with just one photographer. But for yesterday's project I wanted to get everything right and ready for Halloween, so there were 4 people on set (including me). The photographer (Monsters Inside) and two awesome assistants who helped us all the time with the smoke machines, the spotlights, making sure my hair looked good in every shot, doing making-of clips... It wasn't a big production team (there wasn't even a make-up artist or stylist, I was still in charge of those pre-shoot aspects), but wow what a difference it made to work with such great helpers as opposed to working alone or just two people. I could fully focus only on the acting/modelling and forget everything else that was happening on set and it was so satisfying...
I slept very little, but I'm still more rested than after a regular shooting where I carry many more aspects of the project (going in and out of character all the time to check lights, shots, to move props, etc...).
For this Vampira project, after talking with the photographer, we decided to do the first half of the photos directly in black and white, and the 2nd part we shoot in color, looking with the in set light work for the tones of the colored movies of the 50s.
I already have many of the photos (we took a ton of pictures) and I love them as they are, so it's going to be a set with very little editing of tone and colors (maybe a couple of old retro poster edits, but that's all).
What do you think of the first results?

After a quick trip for picking a lot of dry branches in the woods, creating many tombstones, filling the studio floor (again) with soil/dirt for plants, putting together the new cemetery set, finish sewing my dress, practicing the makeup and styling the wig... everything is finally ready for this Halloween special, my incoming Vampira photoset! 🖤

Shore Leave Journal, day 01:
The local traditions are peculiar. I will try to adapt in order not to be discourteous and optimize my conclusions.
I must confess that my current enthusiasm is excessive and too evident. I will try to control myself during my stay so that my lack of moderation does not affect this social experiment called "vacation".

Vamps artwork created by artist Milos Slavkovic, you can support his work also in Patreon
As I had already announced I'm commissioning different covers and artwork working with different artists to do some comic style interpretations of the different photoadventures I create with Vamps.
My intention is to be able to offer a monthly pinup illustration here on Patreon, but the real goal here is to one day be able to produce full comicbooks of Vamps miss-adventures, but it's a step by step work in progress.
But wait, because there is much more planned with my original pulp scifi character, because in collaboration with Cryo ( Galaxy of Scum author) I'm working on the jump of Vamps to her first (very simple) videogame, a light visual novel using the pictures of my original sets!
All commissioned illustrations (whether pinup or NSFW) will be available for Facehugger and up tiers, and the final visual novel will be available for Xeno Warrior and up tiers.
Stay tuned space spicy lovers, because this is gonna be stellar!

T'Lynn has a few days off duty. The guidelines for the not optional vacations are clear, all lower decks personnel must disconnect from their responsibilities outside of Cerritos on the nearest planet: Risa...
Will she be able to learn and adapt to the customs of the locals on this resort planet until she returns to the USS Cerritos? Maybe if she can write down everything she learns about Risian culture, this forced shore leave will be an interesting social experiment...

Vampira had an amazing waist so to transform on her I needed a corset that would emphasise the hourglass curves as much as possible. So I bought this quality corset to enhance my curves and I'm wearing it to try to get my body used to it.
I'm not sure if I could achieve that impossible waist of her but I will tighten the corset as much as I can.
The effect is already certainly more intense than the corsets I have had so far 🖤

Hello! I have a lot of work to do and many projects to finish, but I started working on my spooky-themed cosplay these evenings when I get home (also I'm at last finishing my big Risa set that will be ready for the end of the month and to celebrate the new Lower Decks season).
But let's talk about the spooky season.... Here's a little bit of the process of creating my new dress for this Halloween, a very dear character of mine: Vampira.
Vampira (Maila Nurmi) was an iconic actress, model and horror host, and although she became inmortal famous inside the B-movie genre for Ed Wood's aberrant “Plan 9 from Outer Space”, her life and story is way more interesting.
Maila Nurmi (better known as Vampira), was a pioneering figure in horror television and a cultural icon of the 1950s. Born on December 11, 1922, in Finland, she moved to the United States in her youth.
While living in New York City in 1944, Maila Nurmi appeared with a burlesque group called Spook Scandals for a two-night performance, December 8-9. During the show, she came out of a coffin and shrieked, laying the groundwork for what would become her Vampira persona. Even if she didn't know her skills were going to be put to use as a late-night horror host, it was clear she was already working out the ideas that would make her name.
If nothing else, her combination of the macabre, the sensual, and the campy - typifying a specific brand of mid-20th-century horror - was a consistent trademark throughout her short performance career.

After creating her iconic character, the Vampira look and dyeing her hair from blonde to black for the first time to attend a Hollywood party (the dress was inspired by Addams family cartoons on the newspaper), soon Maila captured the attention of some TV producers and was hired to have her own show.
On April 30, 1954, Los Angeles area got their first taste of Vampira. As her series premiered, this scantily clad, pale, witchy woman emerged from a puff of white smoke. Armed with fingernails that could double as knives, she was possessed of a macabre sensibility that dared viewers to stay tuned - no doubt repelling anyone whose inner goth had not yet been awoken.

Each episode began with Vampira delivering an ear-splitting shriek before she took to her Victorian fainting chair and mercilessly ripped into the feature of the evening - be it horror, science fiction, or a detective film. While the show was on the air, one of her many publicity stunts was to ride around in a 1932 Packard touring car holding a black parasol. Around that time, Life magazine even ran a feature on Vampira. For a moment, at least, it seemed Maila Nurmi had finally hit the big time.

Maila, who presented herself in public as her Vampira personality, attracted the interest of very powerful men at the time: Marlon Brando, Elvis, Orson Welles... and soon she became the target of many rumors and accusations due to her macabre public perfomances. She nevertheless enjoyed provoking without stepping out of her character, but then, shortly after James Dean passed in 1955, The Vampira Show was abruptly canceled by KABC. At the time, Maila Nurmi's close friendship with Dean put her in unsavory celebrity gossip magazines and ABC thought she was too much trouble for their investment.
On top of everything - Dean's tragic passing (some magazines even blamed her for Dean's death accusing her of witchcraft on the actor and other nonsense) and the cancellation of her series, Nurmi said ABC tried several times to take away the rights to her own character, asking her to sign over the rights while they were kicking her to the curb:
"The head of the studio at ABC tried to make me sign a contract in which they would own my character, and I wouldn’t sign it. That’s what it was. They just did the reasonable facsimile, which would work really well. They didn’t need me, but they also didn’t want me around. He was pissed at me. Oh, he was nagging me and nagging me over the phone. He kept calling and calling. I said, 'Mr. Solomon, my answer is no. It is no. Unequivocally, no. I’m not going to say anything else. That’s my answer. I can’t keep talking all night. Please hang up, Mr. Solomon. If you don’t hang up I will have to hang up.'
So, I was blacklisted. He went and got me blacklisted. Nobody was allowed to hire me. I’d get a job once in a while. I used to do one network show a week. An outside show, outside of Vampira, and they would pay me $500, but the little nickels I brought home at this point were no good now that I was trying to support myself. Once they had me off the air, my contract still held, so they were sending me this little weekly check, but they hadn’t had me on the air for months. I would call a studio, or a station and I would say, 'I’m Vampira and I’m available.' And they’d say, 'Wonderful, wonderful. We’ll get right back to you. "
Following the demise of The Vampira Show and a series of failed attempts to resuscitate her ghoulish character on Las Vegas, Maila Nurmi was soon out of money, forced to move in with her mother and draw unemployment checks. When B-movie director Ed Wood came along in 1959 with a role in the science-fiction film Plan 9 From Outer Space (and co-starring with the late Bella Lugosi) she leapt at the chance to get a little work.
It was Maila's idea that her appearance in the film be completely silent, and that she confessed years later that it was upon reading the terrible scripts and lines Ed Wood had written for her role.

Years later Plan 9 from Outer Space would be named the worst film in the history of cinema.
That same film would eventually become the precursor of Z movies, an example for many indie filmmakers to follow and a cult legend.

After many years staying away from producers and finding her new peace away from the cameras, in 1981, Maila was poised to make a comeback. KTTV wanted to bring her back for a new version of Vampira. But the deal fell apart shortly after producers thought it would be more lucrative to hire a new younger actress and steal the character. They hired Cassandra Peterson to play the same character, same look, same car, same horror host background... but with a few minor differences to not pay Nurmi for the rights of Vampira, rights she had wisely withheld all these years... And that's how they created Elvira.
Nurmi told Bizarre that she didn't even know about Peterson until she arrived for a new contract signing.
After Nurmi was totally removed from the project, the project was promptly renamed Elvira, Mistress of the Dark and became the movie we all know. Nurmi attempted to file a lawsuit against the producers and against Peterson for infringing on her character, stealing specifically the "distinctive, low-cut, tattered black dress, emphasizing cleavage and a voluptuous figure."
After a career that moved in fits and starts, Maila Nurmi finally shuffled off this mortal coil on January 10, 2008. After her body was discovered in her Hollywood home, it was determined she passed alone, of natural causes. Some time earlier, Nurmi spoke to KABC about her legacy and a series of hand-drawn Vampira portraits she was selling:
"I don't have any babies or any social history that's remarkable, so I'm leaving something behind, you know, when the time comes to say goodbye, I'm leaving something."

Rest in peace Maila. You left a legacy, a trail of light and darkness that shines brightly to mark the path of all the weirdo girls who came after you to attempt only a fraction of what you achieved. You will always be remembered.

When creating an erotic photo project often it is more interesting to take a look behind the scenes, to see the photos before all the editing magic, as it is also true that it's some times more exciting to see simple photos than more elaborate works. I guess it creates a closer and bit less artificial sense of eroticism.
That's why today I want to join those concepts and show you (to my Xeno Warriors) all the photos I took from this low angle to end up creating the final photos (first 2 images). So here it's just a bunch of photos that were discarded to create a couple JOI photoedits, but I think they are still very sexy even without the editing work.
To create this JOI scene I used several pink LED lights and use the low angles to get that final feeling of a giant hologram turning to the viewer's point of view.

These days one of the few projects I'm working on is creating new suits for Vamps, some for the interior of the ship and others for the exterior and outer space new adventures. So I'm looking at a lot of references for futuristic space suits in comics and movies!

I needed extra hands to create this prop, so I asked for some help!
And here we are this Saturday workshop day, creating an enormous Horga'hn for my incoming Risa set.
For those of you interested in the processes and technical details, we are making the Horga'hn with a wire mesh structure (chicken wire), some PVC pipes, and then polyurethane foam (for insulation beetwen walls). When the foam is inflated to double its size and dry we do some carving work to finish off the shape; the idea is that when it is finished it will look like wood thanks to he final latex coat and paint work, but all the piece will be very light.
This is going to be an ambitious set, so to make the most of it I'm going to do a few photo shoots the same week once is finished. A couple of sessions are going to be Star Trek Pin-Up playing original characters, probably both with bodypaint work (Andorian and Trill)... And a double shoot inspired by Lower Decks, cosplaying T'Lyn and Tendi in Risa, comparing both characters in the same Risa hot situation!
The final photos will be part of this month's sets! Stay tuned to see how my new giant Horga'hn is progressing!

I bought second hand this cool clear PVC (or maybe methacrylate) mannequin. I was afraid it was going to crack when I cut it with the dremmel, but I finally cutted it without any incidents and then sanded the edges. It's going to be the centerpiece of my Barbarella armor if I can figure out how to attach it to the body (although I already have several ideas).
I also started to print this awesome design for the rifle made by myyellowminicooper:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2290815
I will show you the process of sanding and more sanding when I have it ready, because it's gonna be for sure a piece that's foing to give a lot of headaches to leave it so smooth and with chrome effect.
