The Naked Desert

Years in the making...

Been sitting on these files for a couple years now.  The original exposures were super dark given the time of day and we weren't using a flash. I've been attempting to edit these periodically every couple months or so, but have never been happy with them.  But, finally I think my post-production know-how finally has gotten to the level where I can solve certain problems and finally realize the way the images should really be viewed.  

I guess this is the testament to the ...

An old sheep bridge....

We were out looking for compositions in the aspen groves of Greer, AZ, when we came upon an old sheep bridge.  We couldn't help but try somethings out with the leading lines.  It was a cloudy day and the light kept changing on us, but we got some interesting shots nonetheless :)

If you know Arizona, you know that the Superstition Wilderness play a big part in the state's history as well as the outdoor community... as well as The Naked Desert imagery.  We've been out location scouting and can't wait to bring some models here :)

What are your thoughts on NFTs?

There's a huge photographer migration off of Instagram to Twitter, then once on Twitter everyone is taken up by the NFT craze....  Seems like some promise for nude art and nude content creators to regain control and make a living....

Year of the Tiger

This was a particularly fun shoot at a particularly cool Air BnB down in Tucson.  

It was also a photo study as we rented a couple of Fuji's latest X-Mount lenses: the 50mm f1.0 & the 23mm f1.4.  These lenses have been getting a lot of good reviews and we were eager to try them out.  The first three images were taken with the 50, and they were tack sharp, but a little too tight for such a confined space as this historic house built in the 1930s.

White Boudoir

Here's set from our last Tucson shoot. It was damn cold that weekend so we didn't make it outside.  We've been focused on practicing using off camera flash indoors as well as more boudoir-styled shoots.  Though we are still learning and studying we like these results.

The Same but Different?

Whenever we see hoodoos are mountain overlooks, we believe a nude should go!

The first 4 images are from a Hoodoo field located near Page, AZ.  The second set of images are from an area just outside of  Woods Canyon Lake.  It also gives you an idea just how diverse Arizona's environments are aside from saguaro cacti and sand :)

How it Started/How it Ended IV

We stayed in a very cool Air BnB down in Tucson over New Year’s Weekend. We created a lot of images that I’m going to enjoy editing. Until then, we’ll preview some through the “HiS/HiE” format. We are especially proud of this installment 😎
