KAITO’s outfit is from an anniversary MV called “I Skip Love” by Kid-P on YouTube! It has some suggestive illustrations so at the last minute I decided it would suit this scenario 😊💙

I managed to finish it within a week from the period of days that are considered KAITO’s birthday! (February 15-17). The reason his birthdays fall on different days is because the 17th was his original release date, while his only major update (V3, in this comic), falls on the 15th.
Because these dates are so close, the 15th-17th (and sometimes the 14th), are considered KAITO’s birthday. 😊💙

I have come to the realization that I’ve bitten off more than I can chew.. 😅
I fully rendered the four characters here, but left the background as Lineart since it would take a lot of time and energy to fully color in, something that my current time and physical stamina cannot support, unfortunately.
So, I decided it would be best to post this as a partially completed illustration, since it is already very detailed.

So the WETA-VOCALOID illustration for February 2023 will be sort of a comic-illustration style. It will consist of 2 separate (suggestive & romantic) illustrations - one Vocaloid, one with my OCs Tsubaki & Pepero.
The gist is, the first illustration will be a group pose with: Gakupo, MEIKO, and Luka basically cuddling and “teasing” Kaito. Pepero and Tsubaki see this, and decide to create their own.

Omg this was so labor intensive to make. But the end result is really worth it, I’m happy with how these panels turned out, especially since I drew a more action-based scene.
It’s kind of now a running gag with Kaito getting bodied in the other Cryptonloids’ birthday comics 😂
I’ve also started adding my watermark on the Instagram version, in case people try to repost and don’t credit me. These take a lot of time and energy to make, after all :’)

This is the first time I’ve drawn the Wonderlands x Showtime group, all of their detailed costumes at once. WxS is a unit within Project Sekai, a mobile rhythm game with card-based stories (according to my observation). The Vocaloids each exist in different units (aka “Sekais”), where they have different outfits and personalities that reflect their unit. WxS is a cheerful, entertainment based unit and these colorful, elaborate costumes reflect that.

There was this ”intrusive thoughts” trend going around where partners would have the sudden thought to gently take a big bite of their partner’s cheek.. and this idea was born 😂.
I already headcanon that Kaito would have a very strong bite (from eating a lot of cold ice cream!), so he would bite Gakupo several times more in retaliation.. did Gakupo secretly enjoy it? xD💜

The wrapping of the presents are color coded to represent the receiver, and the ribbon/bow ties and stickers on them indicate the giver. 😉🎁

For December’s OC illustration, I wanted to draw Tsubaki “riding” Pepero (get it? 😂) And you get to decide which outfit theme they will be wearing! Keep in mind that Tsubaki’s outift may be more visible due to the pose.
Ths illustration is based on a WIP (see attached files) of a TsuPero comic I plan to post on r/RoleReversal, with the illustration being a more elaborate take on the punchline.
