Vaal Hazak Instructions - New & Revised!

As well as Blackveil Vaal Hazak!

If you are UPGRADING the old 2023 model into the 2025 version, please see the READ ME file included in the PACK.rar! The old version is included as well, however I do NOT recommend building it. The new model is superior in every way.

As mentioned previously, I did also make a model for Blackveil Vaal Hazak. Like many of my alternate models, I believe that the base model is the superior build overall and is the one I recommend building. If you are having trouble choosing, I recommend the regualr Vaal Hazak!

Thank you all for the continued support!

Please check the pinned post for guides on acquiring the pieces needed for these builds via Bricklink!
If you experience any errors, the troubleshooting guide is also linked there!

I have more models on the way, including Malfestio & Lunagaron; and revisions for models like Yian Kut-ku, Gobul, Odogaron, Yian Garuga and eventually Gogmazios!

Old Swamp - Hunting Locale

My Monster Hunter LEGO project continues to evolve in the form of Map Locales!
For the next locale, we have the wet and dark Old Swamp from Monster Hunter 1!

Gathering Nodes Included:

  • Herb

  • Spiderweb

  • Toadstool

  • Eltalite Ore

  • Flashbugs

Play Features:

  • Open up the cave to see the hidden Ore mining spots!

THESE ARE PRIMARILY INSPIRATION MODELS!
Feel free to modify the build, expand with other LEGO models/sets!
Even if you use different colored parts, it doesn't matter! Just have fun!

Malzeno Instructions - New & Revised!

As well as Primordial Malzeno!

Thank you all for the continued support!

Apologies for those that purchased the old 2023 version of Malzeno and Primordial. Those older builds used some increasingly rare Bionicle pieces that inflated the estimated price.
Surprsingly these NEW 2025 builds with MORE pieces cost LESS than the 2023 version.
Please do NOT build the 2023 versions!

On that note, the new Primordial is definitely better/more accurate compared to my old version. However I believe that the base model Malzeno is the superior build overall and is the one I recommend building.

Please check the pinned post for guides on acquiring the pieces needed for these builds via Bricklink!

Rakna-Kadaki Instructions

And Pyre Rakna Kadaki!

Thank you all for the continued support!

Rakna-Kadaki ended up using a lot of newer pieces and the price estimate on the models is much higher than normal. I recommend checking directly through your local Bricklink stores. It might actually be much cheaper than my program estimates. I predict these pieces to become cheaper on the market over time.

Uth Duna Instructions

Uth Duna has finally joined their friends with some instructions! Thank you all for the continued support!

Uth Duna is a somewhat difficult model to play with due to the large water veil tentacles. It is obviously fragile in areas as well. It is best as a display model only.
The water veil can technically be removed, and you can tuck the tentacles along the body just like how it happens in game, but it's not exactly the smoothest transition.

Gammoth Instructions

Thank you all for waiting! I have finally released the instructions for Gammoth! The fated four have finally been reunited in LEGO form!

Apologies again for the delay, Bricklink and LEGO integrated accounts with eachother, leading to some technical difficulties at a critical point in making these instructions. On top of that, I'm doing some dog & cat house sitting for my family so I'm away from my usual computer. Nonetheless, Gammoth is here and I hope you all enjoy!

So Gammoth is much bigger than the other Fated Four members, has virtually no posing options, and costs way more than I estimated; but the end result is a cute and striking model. It's one of my largest models too, but it's quite sturdy all things considered.

Glavenus Instructions (New Revised Version!)

Please check the pinned post for guides on acquiring the pieces needed for these builds via Bricklink!
If you experience any errors, the troubleshooting guide is also linked there!

PLEASE READ:

The folder PACK.rar contains 3 main numbered subfolders:

1: IF YOU WANT THE NEW MODEL

This folder is for users that wish to build the new revised 2025 Glavenus build. It includes the instructions and parts list XML file.

2: IF YOU ALREADY OWN THE OLD MODEL AND WANT TO UPGRADE

This folder is for users who have already previously acquired the pieces for the 2022 Glavenus model and wish to acquire ONLY the pieces needed to upgrade to the 2025 Glavenus Model.

The included parts list XML file in this folder ASSUMES you already own the previous 2022 model and already own a number of pieces.

This will require the user to dismantle the 2022 Glavenus, as about 60% of the old model will make up about 30% of the new model.

You will have leftover pieces. You can build whatever you wish with those remaining pieces. I recommend building weapons for hunter minifigures.

3: IF YOU WANT THE OLD MODEL

This folder is for users who wish to build the older outdated 2022 Glavenus model. It includes the older instructions and the older parts list XML file.

This is an archive for that model and has been depreciated.

Thanks for all the continued support! Gammoth, Uth Duna, Rakna Kadaki and many more are on the way soon!

Update Regarding Subscription Tiers

Don't worry! If you're building LEGO at the LEGO building tier, then NOTHING is changing for you.

However, if you were previously subscribed to the lowest tier, "Video Supporter", it has just been removed! Lately I have not been making videos for my YouTube channel, it has not been a priority and I don't want to mislead people into thinking any videos are coming at any consistent rate.

To explain, I really enjoy Monster Hunter Wilds, however I am tired of having to defend the game and unfortunately my videos accidentally built a vocal audience of Monster Hunter players that dislike the modern direction of Monster Hunter.
I am truthfully fed up with the discourse around the game and I have no interest in making analysis videos about it anytime soon. I have little motivation or time to prepare videos when the LEGO builds have become my true passion. I truly love Monster Hunter and I would prefer to express that love through this art form instead. Eventually when MAJOR updates arrive I will re-approach analyzing Monster Hunter Wilds.

I do have two video scripts; a review of MHWorld and a review of MH1 that I haven't touched in many months because I am just too busy with everything else. I hope you all understand.

Thank you for the continued support, I hope to make videos again at some point but for now I am prioritizing this content.

As for LEGO Monster Hunter Project updates:
Uth Duna, Gammoth, and Rakna Kadaki are new finished builds with instructions coming soon!
Astalos, Glavenus, Vaal Hazak, and Malzeno all have finished revisions with instructions also coming soon!
Many more builds on the way to follow after that!

Ukanlos Instructions

Here it is! The long awaited Tyrant of Ice, Ukanlos, finally has instructions!

PLEASE READ:

This is a MASSIVE build that requires extra care in construction!
Please pay close attention to the instructions!

The build is very heavy and does not allow for many posing outside of moving the head and forearms. If you prop the front legs up on something sturdy, you can simulate him roaring. He can technically stand on his back legs but I DO NOT recommend keeping him in that pose as it requires removing some of his back plates and is VERY UNSTABLE.
This is a display model, and is not easy to play with.

Otherwise, he requires about 3 feet / 1 metre of space as he is 80cm long!
His back shell stands at 36cm high, and stands about 41cm wide!
He's quite heavy, he's several pounds and should ALWAYS be lifted by holding his belly!

Of course, this is an expensive build and please DO NOT purchase the pieces if you do not have the extra funds. LEGO is a rewarding hobby and the parts do not lose their value, but it's also an expensive hobby and it's easy to lose sight of what's really important in your lives. Please consider carefully before making any big purchases! I never want to pressure anyone into spending money on a big hunk of plastic, no matter how cool it might be!
This model is equivalent to a UCS Star Wars set, like the Imperial Star Destroyer.
If you would not purchase a big LEGO set like that, please do not purchase a big set like this!
I recommend my many other smaller builds instead.

Still, if you do end up building my Ukanlos model, you will have a fantastic display piece of one of the mightest classic Monster Hunter monsters!

Please check the pinned post for guides on acquiring the pieces needed for these builds via Bricklink!

Magnamalo Instructions

Updated for 2025 Rebrand.
Please check the pinned post for guides on acquiring the pieces needed for these builds via Bricklink!
If you experience any errors, the troubleshooting guide is also linked there!

Hey everyone! So I finally did it. I built my least favorite monster. And just because I don't personally like him, doesn't mean I won't give 100% effort to make a good model. And so I did!

My only gripe was that I was unable to make the extendable back spikes. But frankly, they don't make a whole heck of a lot of sense on the actual in-game monster model, so maybe it is just physically impossible.

The parts list calls for a small white elastic piece, which is rare for my builds. Magnamalo's head design is quite fragile and required a little extra unorthodox support. Now, the elastic is an official LEGO piece, but if you happen to have small spare elastics, they might work too.

I have not physically built or tested Scorned, and I'm warning that the back might be fragile.

If you are looking for a guide on how to acquire the parts for the build, please check the video pinned at the top of my Patreon.

Thanks again for all the support! More models on the way soon!

Weapons Pack #3! -Weapon Tree Launch!-

Hey everyone!

It's been a while since I did one of these Weapon Instructions Packs, and to make up for it, I am giving you instructions for 75 weapons!

Okay sure, a lot of them a color variants, and a portion of that 75 is actually over in the Fatalis Weapons Pack because they are Fatalis weapon variants... but still, there are a ton of brand new designs here!

With that, I've launched the LEGO Monster Hunter Project - Weapon Tree Side Project!

The Weapon Tree Side Project is a selection of LEGO Recreations of the iconic weapon designs from the Monster Hunter games!

I apologize for the continued lack of Bows.
LEGO is very limiting, so it's very difficult to recreate many of the weapons accurately. There were at least a dozen prototypes that did not make the cut for this selection. However, I hope the ones that have made the cut make up for it!

As always, the Weapon Instructions NEVER require a subscription/donation. The intention behind these designs are to inspire folks to build weapons for their minifigures using whatever leftover pieces you may have on hand. It should be easy to build some of these if you already have a LEGO collection of parts.

⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ For the FULL LIST OF WEAPONS IN THIS PACK, please refer to the CATALOG ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇
I will continue to update the catalog with the faux weapon tree, please check it out:

Jin Dahaad Instructions

Please check the pinned post for guides on acquiring the pieces needed for these builds via Bricklink!
If you experience any errors, the troubleshooting guide is also linked there!

Thanks for the support, here is the mighty Jin Dahaad in all his frozen glory!

This model is huge, and while the model can stand just fine without any display stand, it looks for more impressive (and is much more secure) when displayed with the optional Iceshard Cliffs display stand build, also included. The Display Stand is also included in the Monster Display Stands post as well.

STAND GUIDE:
It's pretty self explanatory, the 4 feet are connected to the technic pins found on the 4 floating rocks. The tail is attached via the small technic connector on the back pillar. The small connector may have to be repositioned depending on tail's pose.
Remember to REMOVE the small additional transparent prop for the tail and the orange rubber pieces on the bottom of the feet.

You could theoretically add more monsters to the display stand, such as Hirabami, with extra pieces and tinkering.

PLEASE NOTE: the models in the example image (my personal model) is a prototype and not representative of the final model you will build via the instructions!

Bazelgeuse Instructions

Updated for 2025 Rebrand.
Please check the pinned post for guides on acquiring the pieces needed for these builds via Bricklink!
If you experience any errors, the troubleshooting guide is also linked there!

PLEASE READ:

Bazelgeuse' primary scale color is a metallic dull bronze. Unfortunately there is no color in LEGO's library that matches this color.

As a result I settled on Metallic Gold for Bazelgeuse' primary scale color. This is a rather rare and expensive color option.
IT IS BRIGHTER IN THE RENDERS, IT IS MORE OF A DULL GOLD IN REAL LIFE.

I recommend users instead acquire the parts of the cheaper variant that uses dark tan and grey instead.

(There's also nothing stopping more experienced model makers to paint the pieces to properly match Bazelgeuse's color, but I will not provide any assistance or advice in that regard).

IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!:

Bazelgeuse is heavy and requires an extra stand assembly included in the folders.
Bazelgeuse will not stay standing without the stand!

BAZELGEUSE GUIDE:

This folder contains 2 main subfolders:

CHEAPER COLORS

This folder is for users that wish to build a variant of my Bazelgeuse model that uses dark tan and grey alternative parts instead of the more expensive metallic gold pieces. This is not the model as I envisioned, but rather a more affordable alternative.

EXPENSIVE COLORS

This folder is for users that wish to build my Bazelgeuse model exactly as I envisioned it. Warning, this is an expensive build.

OVERALL, I was never really happy with this build. It's too heavy, you can't play with it much, it uses so many parts, and it's expensive. I recommend builders go with other models. In my opinion, Bazel looks best as a render.

Hirabami Instructions

Updated for 2025 Rebrand.
Please check the pinned post for guides on acquiring the pieces needed for these builds via Bricklink!
If you experience any errors, the troubleshooting guide is also linked there!

PLEASE READ:
The Hirabami instructions comes with a parts list and instructions for a stand, and it's actually the exact same stand as Vespoid Queen. It's a very versatile stand despite its size. Now it should be able to hold Hirabami up (it holds up my prototype model) but there are some slight differences between this finalized model and my prototype.
The model is better with a stand of some kind, and I do recommend it.
Hirabami has multiple holes on the back of the model that fit the stand into.

Furthermore, the instructions are a tad bit confusing because the main structural piece used for it's neck "flaps" cannot be virtually bent in the digital program (they are flexible pieces in real life). Use your own discretion as to where to attach the piece to the clips. It should naturally fold into place. The final result is relatively sturdy, just a bit annoying to get it all in working order.

As always please follow the video guide pinned at the top of my Patreon page for information on how to acquire the pieces.

Vespoid Queen & Vespoid (+stands)

Updated for 2025 Rebrand.
Please check the pinned post for guides on acquiring the pieces needed for these builds via Bricklink!
If you experience any errors, the troubleshooting guide is also linked there!

A small and obscure monster from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite to tide you guys over while I prepare the bigger projects.

Queen Vespoid comes with a black display stand to position her in flight. It is in it's own instructions and XML file, and is not reflected in the parts count on the cover page. It is optional incase any of you planned to do a custom stand/display.

In this pack is a Re-release of the regular Vespoid; swapped some colors and lowered the parts cost. It comes with a new display stand that is black to match the Queen's display stand, AND it's modular so you can connect the display stand arm to the Queen's to simulate a group of them together.
