2017 November Post 02 - Feeding the Queen

A slight alteration of the beastgirl I sometimes draw. As she has grown, her rule has become a bit tyrannical, it seems - the punishment for everything is 'get eaten by the queen'.

So I'm trying to get back into lineart, as a possible style for a future project. So far, I've been able to basically recover my old style, though much tidier. There are a few nits to pick here, but it's probably best to call this finished now and move on to the next.

The female 'queen' dragon. I've gotten conflicting feedback regarding what kind of dragon she should be, and I'd be happy to do a slightly different one. So I'm putting it to a poll. (She is going to start tiny like any other one.)

So, the overall plot for the next project is starting to form.

A king with grand ambitions commissions a wizard to create weapons. The wizard creates a growth formula, which he uses on dragons and perhaps some other creatures(on a few males initially). At first there is success on the battlefield.

Alrighty, the last pic for this sequence. It's not the most interesting pose or composition, but it really gets the character of this dino across well I think.

Next I'm writing the story, look for that sometime later this week. Once I've done that, I will figure out what the next thing is going to be. A couple of ideas are competing right now, I may need to make them fight in an arena.

(Also, jeez, over a third of patrons were fraud accounts? Damn, this is getting ridiculous.)

There's going to be a mech vs kaiju battle in the story, but I didn't want it to be a standard robotmans mech.

This thing is inspired by an american cold war era cruise missile experiment. The idea being that a nuclear ramjet could power a nuclear cruise missile, give it infinite range, *and* kill everyone in a wide area with its unshielded reactor.
This mech is similar - it is partially based off of alien tech, but they were unable to reverse-engineer the reactors so they had to build it ...

I had a lot of fun with this one. I'm not 100% happy with it, but it's time to move on. I may make some minor tweaks to the human figures once my eyes have looked at something else for a while.

Maybe the series needs a picture between 01 and 02, maybe there should be a feeding scene in between.

Now that I've figured out how the polling system works, it's time to run a proper one.
