This is a wip process for Flann. A new character designed for a friend.

Flann is a tech expert red-squirrel,  currently designed as part of the Project Prime/The Void webcomic universe (but easily to adapt to XEN setting)

Kay fox commission WIP process

Hey people, here's another WIP! 

This is another example on how a process usually follows for a commission. I've found that animated commissions require more sketches to find a proper pose, specially since I made the poses while thinking about how to loop them! 

in this case the pose selected was the number 3. but my personal favorite was 4 ;)

Sniper commission WIP

Hello friends, here's another WIP process in case you are interested.

this time it's mostly about the general process my commissions follow:

step 1 & 2: pose rough sketch - the idea of this stage is to find a proper pose that depicts accurately the idea of the client, in this case pose number 2 was choosen.

step 3: detailed sketch, a guide for drawing the final character.

step 4: render lineart and painting (cell shade in this case!)

THE VOID EP 4 - Early character design

Hey, I found this thing I never got around to finish.

here you can see  the character designs of Colt-6, a fan-created character that won a story contest held in now dead subcultura.es webcomic hosting site.

the other one is Rusty, a beta 2 cat.

This is a very early character design, I probably keep Colt design as it is, but try to change Rusty a little more.

Hey, I found this little thing I made for Cynide for explaining him the design of lesser characters in the X-E-N webcomic, as I pictured them.

I'm not sure about this yet, but there was supposed to be a lizard in the early stages of the X-E-N comic

Nova early concept

 I think this must be one of the very first concepts I made of Nova. Her suit ended up being pretty similar and her hair got way more short, plus her ears and tail a little bigger. Her eyes are green now, too!

at this time she was a nameless character, always supposed to be Bandi's brother/sister (wasn't really sure at the time). I mean, when I put the picture in DA it was named "Fem armored bunny" oof, old times.

Exi clothings and uniform designs

we were throwing some ideas for cloths and uniforms for the EXI ship crew. 

Well, the engineer design is sort of based in a character named 'Vex' my friend Cynide has. The rest it's sort of inspired by different sources, like the Bandi wearing a spacesuit for the helmet of the pilots, plus Battlestar Galactica uniforms + general military stuff Cynide knows more than I do haha. 

Now that I think about it, it was a fun process think and define all of these... I was asking Cynide ...

XEN concept "Saber" ship

This ship design was made by my friend Gaff/cynide/cron12 depending on where you find him ahah.

it's a big ship, which ended up being used for the Exi "Nodriza" ship commanded by Nova, as seen in the XEN comic!

Exi clan modular shuttle

the final shuttle design that was put into the comic itself.

it took a while to design, it's sort of inspired by the bsg Colonial Raptor
