Peasant's Quest version 2.51 is ready for release and download links will be up shortly. This version focuses on fixing some of the mess 2.4x left behind in the temple, but also adds more story and options for the girls there as well.

It looks like Caleahs repeatable event in the library is rather flawed. The .zip file attached to this post should fix that. Extract and dump in 'www' folder. Overwrite existing files.

It appears RPG Maker MV ships with a rather outdated NW.js or node webkit which causes a lot of performance issues. This also appears to be the cause of the freezing animations. I have now upgraded editor with the latest version, which appears to have gotten rid of the freezing animations on my end. Could you guys give it a try and report what effect it has for the animations on your end?

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who submitted feedback or reported bugs! I may not have had the chance to reply to all of you, but I very much appreciate it! I would never have managed to find all these bugs otherwise, there are simply too many possibilities for me to uncover.
That being said, I realize there are issues with animations freezing. I've tried to remake all the animations that have been reported as problematic. I hope this solves the issue for most of you...

Hi guys!
I'm afraid I'm still in the process of testing and bug fixing and I'm going to require several more days to finish things properly. The reason for the delay is that I once again underestimated the time it takes to tidy everything up. Furthermore I wasn't happy with parts of the story and decided to rewrite it. And lastly I need more cutscene images to make things flow properly.

Good news folks!
I'm now nearing the test phase of the update. All the mayor renderwork is complete and I'm also nearing the end of the scripting.
Monday or Tuesday I should be ready to start playtesting the build. Bug fixing and testing usually takes about 5-6 days, so with a bit of luck it's ready for release on Sunday 27th of June. At least that's my goal (it may slip a couple of days if run into unforeseen issues).

I know, I promised to do this more on a weekly basis last time, and now it's been almost two weeks since the last peek. Need to improve.....

It looks like the animation freezing issues have finally been resolved. It appears the .webm animation files weren't quite compatible with the updated engine I used in 2.32. Which would cause them to randomly freeze. I have created new versions of the animation files with a different application and now they seem to play without issue. I have received a lot of reports concerning freezing animations in version 2.32. First I thought it was caused by a lack of a startup delay/wait period (This causes lack of animation looping for keyboard users). But it appears the issue is related to the framerate of the animation files themselves. It's a bit difficult to find the faulty animations since they can work fine several times in a row, but then also fail several times.

I'm a bit undecided on how to proceed. I feel the temple needs some work done to it. There is fairly little to do there at the moment and I'd like to progress the main story again. However things won't pick up very much until [Spoiler alert! (who am I kidding, everyone knows this is bound to happen)] some babies start popping up/out. Okay, second attempt at releasing 2.32.
That missing file path reference should now be fixed. And as I mentioned in my deleted post this version should provide better animation looping and fixes the Zsofia-undeliverable-dress bug.

There is a bug with the path reference of the pumpkin item in the shop menu, causing the game to crash. This isn't easily patched so I need to package all the different OS versions again. I have temporarily removed the download link for 2.32 for now. I will post a new link to a fixed version tomorrow. Use version 2.31 until then.

Slight change this time. 90% of the images for this update were actually rendered at 2016x1440 and then downscaled to 1008x720 for the game. So I'm just posting the original high resolution images (plus a few that weren't rendered at high res) in one package. It's rather big though, about 1.1GB.
