Sad tidings

Hi everyone!

I fear my schedule is slipping even worse than I predicted last time. I'm currently still busy scripting, and creating small cut-scenes. It's become clear to me that I won't be able to deliver a properly tested build before I leave. If I'm lucky I might just still be able to post a test-build on Sunday. If not, I'll try to release a test-build at some point during my vacation. I'll be taking my laptop with me, so I can play-test and bug fix, but I don't really know how I'll...

What to do first?

It's been a while since the last poll. Mainly because the current update I'm working on hasn't been progressing as fast as I once hoped. But I plan to release at least part of it by the end of next week. Then I'll take about 2 weeks off for my summer vacation with the family. This would be an opportune time to start planning another update. Need to keep my mind busy:-).

Hi guys!

Time for another update. Alas the news is not quite as good as hoped. I've completed all the Hilde scenes and I'm currently working on the scenes for Frida. I've also got the new maps running in the game. BUT, I haven't even started on anything Maghda related yet. I got a bit too carried away creating images for Hilde, that my schedule slipped.

The thing is that my family and I are leaving for a 2 week vacation in the beginning of July. And there is no way I'll be able to...

Hi again!

It's been a while since my last report. Apologies for that, but time flies when you're busy. I've been busy doing the scenes for Hilde, and have completed all the scenes I originally planned to do....but I've now decided I need to add one more scene for her for story purposes. Hi boys and girls!

With all the miscellaneous stuff surrounding version 1.6x done, I can now concentrate on the next update for Peasant's Quest.

As you may know, this update will bring more story for Maghda, Frida and Frida's sister; Hilde. So it's all going to be about the larger ladies. I had a quick poll for Hilde's hair color and it turned out the majority favored red instead of blond, so the picture above shows how Hilde turned out.

Hello!

When I released version 1.61 I mentioned I'd release a small revision later to add a few new features. Well, here she is. Not much has changed, so anyone who's already played through 1.61 might as well skip this one, but this is the recommended version for new players.

Changes:

- Added a small animation for Liandra's forest sex scene.

- Added pastry support for Shakala and Frida (only applicable for a few scenes).

What hair color should I go for?

So I've been working on Frida's sister, Hilde, for a couple of days. But I can't make up my mind considering her hair color. I'm going for a Nordic appearance, so it's either going to be red'ish or blond. But I'm going to leave that choice to you. Please see the attached images before making your choice. This is going to be a short poll, since I need to start working on her scenes soon. Vote quickly!

Yes! She's finally ready for release! This latest update brings more story for Liandra (the elf by the well) and adds a new character in town. The new arrival is a halfling baker by the name of Rosy. She's in a bit of trouble, so a rescue may be in order....

Looks like a lot of people jumped on the test release. Although I appreciate your eagerness, please be aware that it's an unfinished release with bugs! I'm still working on adding the last features and fixing bugs.

Hi again!

This year's Easter holiday has come to an end, and I'm happy to report that I've gotten a lot done! If everything goes according to plan, I should have my draft done tomorrow. I'll then need at least another two days for playtesting and bugfixing before it's sent to my QC guy for further testing.

Weekly report

Wow, I can't believe another week has gone by already! I've just about slipped into utter panic mode now. Wondering how I'm ever going to get this done.

But anyway, what's been going on since the last report? Well, I've completed another scene for Liandra, that makes a total of five completed scenes so far. All new map sections are now done and running in game, I also remade the map section for the magic well. I had to expand it slightly and also wanted it to be graphically on par with ...

Status report

Hi again!

It's been a while since my last report, so I guess you're anxious about what I've been up to.

The last two weeks I've mostly worked on the new Hobbit character. I'm currently working on the third and final (at least in this update) scene for her. Now it appears that the latest build is reasonably stable. I'm back at work working on the next expansion. As you may know, Liandra (elf chick guarding the well) won the last character poll and will have her story expanded. However, she will not be the only character appearing in the next update. Patch for missing image crash when Erevi gives Birth

Hi,

Some have reported the game crashing due to it not finding the Actor3.png file when naming Erevi's child. You can patch this by downloading this zip file. Extract it to the www folder. So you end up With the following path: www\img\faces\Actor3.png

This should avoid the crash.

Sorry for bombarding you with new versions so often, but this update required me to rewrite a lot of older events and some bugs avoided detection during testing.

There were a few very serious (and not so serious) bugs in the version 1.51. These should be fixed in this version (1.52).

The following bugs have been fixed:

- Game freezes in the Tower of Death before getting Erevi pregnant

- Can't get rid of daughter after completing Waystone Quest (caused by sleeping in tower before reporting back to Erevi). Go to the floor where daughter's bedroom is. She should then automatically disappear from the party.

Hi!

It's been brought to my attention that there is a bug in the tower that causes the game to freeze. I'll fix this as soon as I get back home (5-6 hours from now).

After what felt like an age, she's finally done! And it brings some big changes to the game. Easily the biggest update I've released to date! 

In this version I have added to Erevi's story, and you'll get to travel with her daughter to unlock the secrets of fast travel!
