WHOOPS. Super late, totally thought I made this post a bit ago.

I'll start first this time! ASEPRITE TOTALLY HAD A DOPE UPDATE A FEW MONTHS AGO. I didn't realize, but they've updated how their tile-set engine works. Now it's fuckin' >perfect< for what I need for Act 4! I was setting up a super dumb workflow in Clip Studio, and was kinda dreading doing those assets. BUT NOW, I'm just kinda making stuff because it's so dang fun.

Just a heads up, we ARE NOT releasing a build this month. We might release one early/mid next month, but things are in a "CLOSE, but NOT QUITE" state atm! Production is moving along steadily, and it's been really awesome being able to roam around in the V2 project. It's also interesting to note the game zip went from like, 250mb to around 130! Super dope seeing how some of these optimizations are paying off :>

Perdita lick job~!

Here's this month's animation :> Posting pretty late, it was done weeks ago xD!

Her rig is TOTALLY done now. There's a few minor advanced controllers I can still make, but her bits are totally rigged, textures look good, I reweighted a couple problem areas, she's lookin' really solid!

I'll be opening up next month's poll for what we should do with her ;)

8/22 weekly update:

Good progress on v2 last week! I smoothed a bunch of rough edges & squashed a few sneaky bugs. The game's code rewrite is essentially done now and the next step is back-and-forth with Carrot playtesting to fix any leftover issues we discover. I have a few lingering polish/bugfix tasks (Mostly in Act 2) to solve this week as well, in parallel.

Shower Bun! Alternate Angle

Here's the Alternate Angle :3

So I REALLY wanna do audio versions of these. I did a quick mock up and got the bathroom echo-y-ness working pretty well, so I really wanna get both environments going. (I always dug making soundscapes in school, kinda nice to get back into it)

This particular angle has a dope compositional element with the reflection! So in the attached files, I've got a render where there's a rack focus focusing on the reflection!
